Kate seems like such a wonderful mom to Lilly….she is one of my fave celebrities. Stunning and talented woman.

I totally agree with Valerie.If my mother was asked what her best body part was and she said it was her female parts (well, she used the T word,I’m being polite) I’d do like and ostrich and bury my head in the sand. As much as I love this family, I hate some of the things that she says.

Also, Kate has done quite a bit of nudity, she goes full in quite a bit of her older movies. Also, nudity is only the icing on the cake when you are a kid. I still feel uncomfortable when I watch movies that have love scenes with my parents.

Yes, Kate did a nude scene in Underworld 2: Evolution.

I guess that was okay, because dad was in it, and it’s too mature for any of her friends to be watching anyway.

When her daughter was younger, she probably felt like many other celebrity parents that she just wouldn’t let her daughter see that movie until she was older. Now that Lily is growing up into her own individual person, Kate probably senses that some things are not acceptable anymore that were 5 or 6 years ago. As a parent, you learn and grow right along with your child.

As for her recent comments, yeah, I wouldn’t say them, but they are just candid comments. I cannot fault her for that. She reminds me of one of my friends who says anything that pops into her head, and doesn’t realize until after it’s said and done what she just said. She can control her actions much more readily than her words.

I think her daughter will probably be more embarrassed by her mother’s recent not-quite-appropriate comments comments about the female anatomy more than her mother being an actress. I mean, I understand what she’s saying, but I think it’s more than a little hypocritical of her to say those things and then make several semi-lewd comments to the media.

kate already did a nude/love scene in her movie(s) underworld and if i’m not mistaken also in pearl harbor although in both movies i dont think they actually showed anything.

But i love her as an actress and she very beautiful and seems like a good mom.

If she’s so worried about embarrasing her daughter, maybe she should stop talking about her vagina to any reporter that will listen.

I’m not sure that Kate meant to criticize the other mom. She probably meant that she wouldn’t feel comfortable herself putting her own daughter–whose temperament she knows–in that movie.

Anyway, I like Kate a lot! She sounds like a great mom.
