Poppy Montgomery and Adam Kaufman out for a walk, first peek at Jackson Phillip
Actors Adam Kaufman and Poppy Montgomery, 32, were spotted out walking with their son Jackson Phillip Devereux, 3 months, in Venice, CA on Sunday. This is the first peek we’ve had at Jackson! Poppy also did a CBB interview with us last month, for those that missed it.

Can anyone tell me the differences between the Orbit system and the Bugaboo system? It seems like they are equally popular. Anyone who has test driven both and has an opinion? Personally I like the sleek look of the Bugaboo better and the prices are comparable. Celebrities seem to have either the Orbit or the Bugaboo with a BOB jogging stroller thrown in. While I’m on the topic, I have used a Baby Bjorn but never used the pouch that is popular with celebrities like Amanda Peet, can’t remember the name, it doesn’t look as comfortable for the adult, without padded back straps. Thanks

WOW 3 months already!! MJ~ Personally I think the orbit system is better, it is more stable but a little more bulky! The bugaboo has a nice look I agree but it didn’t really work all that well for me! http://www.Bugaboo.com You can see the different types of strollers for bugaboo there! http://www.orbitbaby.com is where you can find info on the orbit stroller!! Hope I could help!!

MJ – I think you mean the ERGO Carrier? I find it to be very comfortable. It distributes the weight a lot more evenly than a Bjorn. By the time my daighter was 15-16 lbs, the Bjorn Active model was killing my shoulders. The ERGO is still comfy and she is 30 lbs now
You can also use the Ergo as a backpack carrier.

MJ- I know it hasn’t caught on as well as the Bugaboo in the US yet, but the Quinny stroller and the Dreami bassinet you can buy with it take the top spot IMO…It is so easy to handle, especially with the 3 wheel design. Plus, it looks super trendy and modern if that’s something you’re interested in!

OMG cutest baby ever!!!

The Baby Bjorn doesn’t even compare to the ERGO. I’ve used Bjorns for over 10 years with babies I’ve taken care of and they were ok when I was younger, but now they kill my back. A mom I know just let me try her ERGO last week and I was in heaven. I didn’t want to take it off. The way they distribute the weight is completely different. With the Bjorn, all the weight is in the shoulder straps and the baby simply hangs. Most babies seem to be fine in them, but I can’t imagine hanging by your crotch is all that comfortable. The ERGO really just supports the baby in the position you’d carry them naturally, with their weight on their butt and their legs around you. I was reading an article somewhere and someone said “it’s like getting a hug all the time.” I’m a convert. I want one.
Oh, and the Bugaboo is the best stroller ever. If you live in NY I’d recommend that, plus a cheap umbrella stroller for when you have to fold and carry (subways, buses, etc.)
I’ve never used the Orbit and it looks a bit clunky to me, but I guess the carseat thing works best when you live in LA or anywhere else where you drive everywhere.
Cute baby, he looks just like Poppy!

orbit – carseat, stroller base, car base. has a one handed fold (and it really is one handed). weighs a TON. bassinet add on $200+ more. “paparazzi shield” full cover.
bugaboo – stroller for older baby with canopy and bassinet. carseat adapter additional. a couple of twists and button pushes to fold. much lighter.
i have both. bought the orbit first. wish i had never bought it. would buy a bugaboo with carseat adapter if i could do it all over again. although daughter slept in the bassinet for the first four months – and new baby will too hopefully.

MJ ~ the Orbit system will be coming out with a convertible seat that can also use the same base as the infant seat does, so that makes it even more appealing imo.

MJ, I have the Bugaboo Frog and LOVE it!! It’s been exceptional for me and my daughter is 2 now and still using it frequently. I don’t like the Orbit as much; my girlfriend has one and it’s a bit bulkier in terms of use. Plus I’m not a big fan of the extra cost for the bassinet. With my Frog, I got the complete system for $729. Hope this helps!

omg. he’s so cute!!!

orbit keeps delaying the toddler carseat. i can only imagine how heavy IT will be!!!
March 25th, 2008 at 11:25 pm
That baby is so cute, he looks like his mom. Yes I said this in another thread, most celebrities tend to always have the orbit and the bugaboo. I like the bugaboo better. The orbit looks bulkier and not as comfortable IMO.
March 25th, 2008 at 11:27 pm
I like the Orbit handles better though.
