She is very cute. I didnt really like the bangs when she was little. I am sad that they couldnt have more kids, and I remember Masako’s struggles, with fertility, pregnancy and living in a royal family. She changed a lot and looks sad.

Do you know if she will succeed her father to the throne or will it be her cousin since she isn’t a male heir? I know that their government was going to debate that but don’t know if they made a decision on that.

No, the way things are going now, Aiko will not be empress. Her cousin, Hisahito, who is the first boy to be born in the Japanese Imperial Family since his father’s birth over 40 years ago, will be the emperor.
