Tyler-Langdon family go house hunting

Actress Liv Tyler, 30, musician husband Royston Langdon, 35, and son Milo William, 3, were out and about yesterday in Brooklyn looking at town-homes. The family currently lives in New York’s West Village but are supposedly looking to make a move to the Brooklyn area.
One of the homes they took a look at is on the market for $16 million. The property is 8,000 square feet and has beautiful characteristics such as etched glass doors, grand fireplaces, and views overlooking the Hudson and Statue of Liberty.

Milo is so adorable! Looks just like Liv to me, especially with his eyes and lips.

$16 million?! Holy sh*t! They should look in Windsor Terrace – it is much more reasonable, very family friendly, right by Prospect Park. Plus then we will be neighbors – ha.

The only way you can see the Hudson and Statue of Liberty from Brooklyn is to move to Brooklyn Heights, where you can find a brownstone for $16 million.

By the way, why would they buy a house for $16 mil in Brooklyn? I know there are some really nice houses in some parts of Brooklyn but they might has well move to Long Island and get a yard and all that other stuff. Just my opinion

You can get a backyard in Brooklyn. I’m looking at some brownstones now that have tons of space, character, a backyard and the most important point for me (and I suspect Liv and her husband) that we are close to Manhattan and still in NYC. I have friends and family in Long Island with nice houses and yards, but its not my speed, too suburban, too boring. I want my child to grow up more cosmopolitan, even though both my parents and in laws don’t understand. I think they are city people and for me certain parts of Brooklyn provide the best of both worlds. Just my opinion.
