Ali looks happier than ever, she’s just beaming. She looks like a wonderful mother. I’m amazined at how Estela looks EXACTLY like her father. She’s a beautiful, precious baby.

Ahhh the last photo where Estela is smiling so widely is just too cute. And I agree, she’s always dressed so beautifully.

I don’t even know who this celebrity is but her and her little girl are absolutely gorgeous! What a little cutie with that big smile! x

They both look so beautiful! I love her traditional dress/shoes/hair-bow as well! I don’t think I’ve ever seen Ali looking more fabulous, either.

Wow, I looked at this expecting people to have commented on Estela’s ears being pierced!
I don’t mind it, but I think on a UK site people would be really critical. Is it more ‘accepted’ to pierce a baby’s ears in the States?
Not trying to start an argument, I’m just genuinely interested. As I said, I don’t mind the ear-studs at all
I LOVE the strawberry dress, Estela looks so sweet and Ali is super-gorgeous.

How cute are they?! LOVE her outfit!

The ear piercing is very common among Latino families, which Ali and Alejandro are. A cultural thing.
I love the smocked dress as well.

What a cutie! I love that dress and those shoes together!
April 11th, 2008 at 10:24 am

That little girl is adorable and I love how Ali dresses her.
I met Ali at a Enrique Iglesias concert a few years ago when she was dating Mario Lopez, she is beatiful and so nice.
Ruthella: A lot of people choose not to pierce their daughters ears, yet we did. My daughters ears got pierced when she was a baby, she is now almost 6 years old. My nieces ears are pierced too. A nurse pierced my daughters ears when she was 4 months old, but I know that others choose to pierce their daughters ears before leaving the hospital.

The ear piercing thing is cultural. Latin, Indian, and African families tend to pierce their babies ears sooner. I’m African-American and had my daughter’s ears pierced by her doctor when she was three months old. And my mother had my ears pierced when I was a few months old. I’ve never understood why things like this are fodder for debate. As long as our children are healthy and happy, things like this shouldn’t matter. I would never judge another mother for not piercing her child’s ears early simply because I chose to have my daughter’s ears pierced early.
That being said, mother and baby are absolutely gorgeous.

Estella is cute, looks just like her dad and ali dresses her beautiful. Ali is a beautiful woman.

Cute kid! She looks like a little princess!

man alive, that’s one cute little girl.

I had my ears pierced at 6 months old becaue my mom was tired of me being called a boy! I had a second whole by the time I was 8 and 4 wholes by age 12 LOL
If I ever have a baby girl I will have her ears pierced by the time she’s 3 months old! Better to do it young when they can’t remember it. It’s no more then a pinch…just like if they were getting their shots. A quick pinch and it’s over! And it’s a personal choice.
Estela is gorgeous!!

Now that is one of the most gorgeous/cutest celebrity mother & daughter!!

That baby is soooo cute! She is hamming it up for the camera. A lot of people have their daughters ears pierced these days. I went to school with a girl who had hers pierced when she was a baby b/c she didn’t hardly have any hair so you could tell that she was a girl instead of a boy. I see nothing wrong with doing it.

I never knew doctors pierced ears!
Ruthella, I did see the pierced ears and I disaprove of it but decided not to comment on it. I’m from western Europe and I think you mostly see babies of latin, Indian, North African heritage with pierced ears.
April 11th, 2008 at 2:28 pm
I don’t really think the pierced ear question was asked in a judging manner or rudely to start a debate…it seems to be out of sincere curiosity.
Thank you for the kind answers most gave on this! I was curious as well. I have always thought pierced ears look SO adorable on little girls!
Oh so cute!!

I went and had my daughters ears done after her 2 month shots at a dr’s office. it was what my mom did with me right after i was born. she is now 3 1/2 and i am telling you, she has more earrings than i do, courtesy og her grandmother.

What a doll!!! She and her mom are stunning. I’m a Latina, too. And it was not until high school that I ever heard any controversy surrounding pierced ears on girls of any age.
I think it’s fine, and will also pierce my baby girls’ ears (whenever I have them:).
April 11th, 2008 at 4:02 pm
WOW!!! SUCH AN ADORABLE BABY!!
Yes, the piercing is very much a cultural thing. I’m Mexican and that is extremely common- some even have it done before they leave the hospital.
April 11th, 2008 at 10:49 pm
What a cutie!

as a personal choice i wouldnt have my babies ears pierced, i do think they look adorable but i cant even bear to take her for shots, her daddy has to do it!!. lol. im going to leave it till shes 5 or 6 then i can explain it may hurt and she will have to look after them until theyre healed and go by her desicion.
April 13th, 2008 at 7:23 pm
adoreable baby. looks like mom and eyes like dad. they would make a cute boy together too. i read a book by shettles that explains how to improve odds for boys or girls-wow.
