Elisabeth Röhm welcomes daughter Easton August
Former Law & Order star Elisabeth Röhm, 34, and fiancé Ron Wooster, 40, are first time parents after welcoming daughter Easton August Anthony on Thursday, April 10th at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, CA. Anthony is Ron’s "other surname" and is the baby’s last name.
Easton arrived two weeks early, weighing in at 6 lbs, 13 oz and is 18 inches long. Elisabeth is recovering at home, her rep tells People.
She’s so happy. They’re so thrilled to welcome her into the world, and to be home with her now.
The pregnancy, sex, and name of the baby were announced in November. In March, she was the covergirl for Pregnancy magazine. The same month, the Big Shots actress celebrated her baby shower. Ron and Elisabeth will wed in October.

What’s the baby’s last name? Wooster or Anthony or both? On the main page is says “Anthony Wooster” while on Elisabeth’s news page is says “Anthony”. I’m confused, lol.

congratulations to the happy family! What a beautiful name!
For some reason, I totally had her pegged as going over her due date…
Relieved to hear of baby’s arrival. I am very superstitious when it comes to pregnancy- talking so publicly about the baby’s name before she was born totally made me nervous. Is anyone else here superstitious about pregnancies? :p

Congratulations to Elisabeth and Ron…Easton is bound to be an adorable little girl. Just one thing in question though. I was reading back on the link and it noted that Elisabeth and Ron were suppose to be getting married in September (read the same date in People) not October.

Congratulations to them. I like the name, I think it flows well. Very interesting about his last name, I wonder if Wooster is a stage name?
M & P, the People link says the In Style Magazine from December says they’ll be getting married in Sept on Long Island, NY. But the Associated Press statement that her rep issued today says the wedding will take place in October in Palm Springs, CA. It sounds like the plans have changed.

Yay! Law and Order is my favorite show and I had my son on April 10 (2006) as well! I like the name Easton, too

What I find amusing is that if you calculate back, Easton August was conceived late July/Early August.

Better name! I didn’t like the name Easton Wooster. This flows better.

So is Anthony her last name?
I’d appreciate an answer if anyone knows… but considering the new comment policy there’ll probably be no answer…

Andrea -I know what you mean, I’d never talk about the name to everyone like that (only husband and grandparents knew it before birth). I feel the same way about having the nursery done before the baby’s born, let alone at 4 or 5 months like some celebs do.
Where are you from? I’m from S-I Europe and most people feel the same here.
Not a fan of the unisex name, but love Elisabeth and can’t wait to see Easton!

Just curious – what is meant by Anthony being Ron’s “other surname” How is it that he has two when his name is simply Ron Wooster??!

Wooster could well be a stage name–if there was already a Ron Anthony in the acting unions, then he couldn’t use that name. Maybe Wooster’s from his mom’s family, or some such?
Re: the wedding date/location–maybe they’re just trying to throw “univited guests” off the scent!
Congrats to them on their new baby girl–I used to (actually, still do, with the reruns!) enjoy watching her on Law & Order.

Andrea- I always feel like that when people announce the name only months into the pregnancy, dont know why! I had a name picked out for mine when I was pregnant but kept it between me and husband right upto the birth. Each to their own i suppose!
Congratulations anyway, I’m sure the baby is beautiful

Easton is not a unisex name. It has always been a boy’s name. I named my son Easton. I don’t want people to confuse his gender. Leave boy’s names for boys.
