Update: Matt has blogged that they’re expecting a baby girl. Candyce’s due date is August 30th.
Originally posted January 15th: Matt Smith, 29, of The Real World: New Orleans, and his wife Candyce have announced that they are expecting their first child.
Matt and Candyce tied the knot last April.

I remember Matt! He was one of only a few Real World alums who didn’t need to make a fool of themselves for the cameras.

Aww, so great for him! I remember meeting him at a speeking engagement at our church shortly after his Real World Season and he was really sweet (took pictures with us — at the time teens — and everything). He’s really passionate about life and what he does and I think he’ll be a great father :O)
