Halle Berry gets parenting advice from Nancy O’Dell
Access Hollywood host Nancy O’Dell, 42, decided to help friend Halle Berry, 41, after she gave birth to daughter Nahla Ariela last month, and sent her a long e-mail on motherhood advice.
We’ve e-mailed, and she’s loving motherhood. I sent her a whole page e-mail about things I wish friends had told me. I said, ‘I wish people had given me this advice. They didn’t, so I’m going to give it to you.’ She was appreciative, really appreciative.
Nancy herself gave birth to daughter Ashby Grace 10 months ago, and is excited that their daughters can have playdates together — although she was hoping for Halle to have a son.
I’m glad she had a girl, so the girls can play, but the other side of me went, I bet that would be a very attractive young boy to set up with my girl. I was pulling for either one.

I read a story saying that Halle is not going to go the magazine exclusive route so many other celebs have gone. I hope it’s true because it would be nice to see a celeb who talks about wanting private life and actually goes about living a private life. Seeing her around town would be just fine for me.

I hope halle does a magazine spread with her baby, just because I bet that baby is beautiful and I’m curious to see her. I heard she is waiting till the baby gets a little older, and she herself wants to get in shape too. Anyway I love nancy and it’s cute halle and her are friends. Both of them had little girls in their 40’s and they both look so young too.

I, too, hope she does a magazine spread with Nahla. Anyway, I hope for Halle and Gabriel’s sake that they let us see Nahla somehow within the next few months (whether it be a magazine spread or allowing the paps to get photos of her), so that they don’t have to endure public scruntiny, conspircy theories, and “Where’s Nahla?” questions a la Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

Hello. I was just wondering if anyone knows when Halle Berry’s baby will be photograghed. I am sure this baby is a gorgeous sweet baby like her parents are. What a good example of parents. Good thing people have given her advice, and most you get from instinct or you learn from your mistakes, so I am happy Nancy took the time to write her the things she wish she’d known first. Mother’s sticking together:-) Again, I can’t wait to see a picture of her precious angel.
