Update: Rumor: Tobey Maguire and wife Jen Meyer expecting second child?
Update: Us Weekly has a source who denies that they are expecting. An independent source whom we trust recently told us that Jen and Tobey are indeed trying for another child, so whether it’s true or not, we certainly wish them luck on a 2008 or early 2009 baby!
Originally posted 5:30 pm: In Touch Magazine is reporting that actor Tobey Maguire, 32, and his wife, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, 30, are apparently expecting their second child together this October. The new baby will join daughter Ruby Sweetheart, 17 months.
A friend of the couple told the magazine,
Jen and Tobey are over-the-moon happy. Since they already have a daughter, they would love a little boy, but of course they would be just as thrilled with another daughter.
The friend also added that,
Jen’s doing great. She had an easy pregnancy last time around, so this time it should also be a breeze.

if only that easy first pregnancy easy second pregnancy statement was true- Lord I wish. Congrats to them and hope she does have an easy pregnancy

Not surprised! After the most recent pictures you posted I thought she looked pregnant. If she’s due in Oct. though I guess she’s not really showing yet so maybe just a lucky guess on my part

This rumor has already been denied. As it says on perezhilton.com: A source very close to Tobey and Jen tells PerezHilton.com exclusively that, “Jen is NOT pregnant! It is 100 percent not true.”

I am surprised on how much CBB has been posting rumors recently. I can’t decide if I like it or not.

I like that rumors are posted…CBB is always very careful to point out that Rumors are Rumors, and quick to post updates.
We’re all going to email in and ask if they’ve heard about the rumors anyway, so it’s good to get a post stating what info there is out there.

I hope she has an easy pregnancy the second time around, but it’s not a guarantee just because the first one was easy, as I once thought too! I had a super easy pregnancy the first time and a very hard one the second time – and they were both girls!! Best of luck to Jen!!

Allie I agree what’s up with all the rumors on CBB lately. I wish they would just wait until it is confirmed. Can’t a woman wear a loose fitting dress without everyone thinking she’s pregnant. I don’t trust any sources unless it is from the horses mouth or obvious. Remember a CBB source conformed that Shiloh was a boy and we all know how that one turned out.
I don’t email CBB with rumors I’ve heard I can imagine that their mailbox is already over loaded. I just wait until it is confirmed. It’s funny however that they never posted about the Brad and Angie baby when it was just a rumor.

Even and independent source I figure must have a connection with them to know something so personal and yet they talk to a blog about it. And their friends add stuff.
