Melania Trump can’t wait to spend Mother’s Day with Barron
Model Melania Trump says she is counting down the days until Mother’s Day because it means she will get to spend some quality one-on-one time with her son Barron William, 2.
On Mother’s Day this year we will just spend it together, Barron and I. We will give each other a lot of kisses, a lot of hugs, a lot of love.
And while most two-year-old children have temper tantrum and crying episodes, the 37-year-old reveals that as well as having a nice temperament her son has become quite the intellectual.
He’s speaking two languages. He communicates very well. He’s running around. He’s a very happy, happy boy.

Awww! I hope they have a wonderful Mother’s day together! Whenever I see pictures of them, you can always feel the love they have for eachother. He’s by far the most gorgeous celebrity baby!

Important food for thought:
When Barron Trump learns two languages he is perceived as “quite the intellectual.”
When children enter our public schools with linguistic resources in two languages they are often perceived as having deficits.
Let’s use this as a good example of why ALL our children should have opportunities to learn more than one language, not just the rich and famous.

She is home all day and doesn’t work, so what does she mean by quality time with Barron? Are nannies looking after him? She likely speaks to him in her native tongue, whereas, Spanish or French as a second language would be more appropriate. He is a darling though.

My guess is Baron speaks English and Slovenian since his mother is Slovenian. Although, not sure if she speaks Slovenian or any of the other languages in former Yugoslavia.

Kathy -yes, his mother is from Slovenia and speaks Slovenian. Someone from Croatia speaks Croatian, a Macedonin speaks Macedonian , a Serb speaks Serbian, etc.
