Minnie Driver jokes about the father of her baby
Actress Minnie Driver, 38, whose first child is due in August, has yet to confirm the father of her child — but it doesn’t stop her from making fun of the speculations. At "An Evening with The Riches" at The Paley Center for Media on Friday night, she told People,
It’s the Easter Bunny. I’ve never had sex.
She also said she would love to continue with her role in The Riches.
Even though [I'm pregnant]! Yeah, my god, it’s just the best job ever for all of us, I think. I mean, I really think I can say that for all of us because everyone keeps saying it. Everybody loves it.

There are only 2 reasons I can think of as to why she hasn’t said who the baby’s father is:
1) She wants to keep it private or
2) She is unsure who the father is
I hope it’s number 1 and it is her right to keep it private if she wants to. Either way, it usually seems that celebrity baby’s birth certificates are always leaked onto the internet after they are born, so anyone nosy enough will probably find out eventually.

Hmm, I do recall she previously stated that she was the “public person” and the baby’s father was “not”. I didn’t know she is dating somebody who has a rather public job.
At any rate – I think it’s great that she doesn’t feel a need to share any details, but at the same time isn’t pretending she isn’t pregnant. She’s pregnant, it’s obvious, and that’s just that. I think it’s a great take on it.

I’d like to add a 3rd possible reason: the father is a sperm donor. She did once mention that the baby would have her last name.

What a gorgeous dress. She wears red so well, it’s so flattering on her. Is that specifically a maternity dress or just a wrap dress, does anyone know?

I think it’s very cool
SHe is also handling it really well. i love people who aren’t afraid to make fun of themselves 
and as long as she tells us the babies name, she may keep everything else private

To me, this just adds speculation & gossip around the whole thing. The more she avoids it, the more people want to know, in my opinion.
Of course this is 100% her choice (and the fathers choice) but we are eventually going to find out, because surely he will want to spend time with his child ? Or some certificate will get leaked….
Either way I find her very charming and lovely. I just LOVE her accent!

Either way… I love how she just plays around the question.. Its not really anyones business but she doesnt seem to get upset and such… Which ever the reason… Rock On Minnie!
