Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, 56, is pictured holding his two grandsons, Rocco Bertie (l) and Jay Nicky, (r) outside the Government buildings in Dublin on Saturday, April 19th. They’re gorgeous! He certainly looks like the proud grandad! I have to comment though guys as an Irish woman, he is/was _not_ the Irish “Premier”, we’re Irish, we’re not part of the united kingdom! He’s the Taoiseach (”Thee-shuchk”), which is the head of the dominant political party in government, thus in effect the head of government. “Premier” or “Prime Minister” is an English term of phrase.
