The Spanish Royal family attends Easter Mass
King Juan Carlos I of Spain, 69, and his wife, Queen Sofia, 69, attended Sunday Easter Mass with their three kids and their eight grandchildren; son Prince Felipe, 40, who has two daughters with wife Princess Letizia, 35 — Infanta Leonor, 2 ½, and Infanta Sofia, 11 months; daughter Infanta Cristina, who has four children with Iñaki Urdangarin, 39 –Juan Valentin, 8, Pablo Nicolas, 7, Miguel, 6, and Irene, 3 in June, and daughter Infanta Elena, who has two children with estranged husband, Jaime de Marichalar, 44 — Felipe Juan Froilan, 9, and Victoria Federica, 7.
Before entering the church, the family was received by a bishop (who even was greeted with a kiss from Infanta Leonor!) and posed for the photographers standing outside. During the quick photo shoot, little Leonor kept everyone laughing with her spunkiness, while her baby sister Sofia couldn’t stop waving to the cameras.
After the group shot was taken, Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia posed for a few photos with their two daughters.

Hi- Infanta Cristina has three sons, the oldest is Juan. I think he is 9 or 10. He is the oldest grandchild of the Spanish King and Queen.

Infanta Cristina and Don Iñaki have an eldest son, Juan Valentin, who is eight years old.
The picture of Leonor and the Bishop is adorable!!!!! And her cousin Irene is so pretty, I had not seen any pictures of her since she was a newborn.

What a brood of royal children! Leonor’s curls are so cute, and she always seems like such a happy child

I hope Leonor will be Spain’s queen some day – she has so much charisma!
Here is an adorable clip of her after visiting her mom and newborn sister Sophia last year – you can see Felipe is a patient and loving father!

All of the kids are adorable, but I love seeing little Leonor. She always looks so adorable with those curls and I love the matching outfits with her and her sister!

Great pictures: Love the picture of Leonors sister and her together. I wonder if she will have curly hair to later like her sister. Love seeing pictures.

Aww I love the picture of Leonor making acquaintances with the bishop. The kids of this royal family are definitely going to grow up by keeping their catholic faith. And Sofia is cute two. I can’t believe how they both are growing so fast, especially since Sofia is going to be 1 on Tuesday!

Does anyone know where Sofia’s and Leonor’s outfits came from? These European royal babies have the cutest clothes!

All of the children are darling, but I especially love seeing photos of Leonor and Sofia.
I can’t believe how much Sofia has grown up…doesn’t at all seem like a year since she was born. I love the matching outfits!
And Leonor is as cute as ever, with those blonde curls and blue eyes. She has such a sweet personality and seems like such a happy little girl. The photo of her with the Bishop is adorable!

very cute but these are over a month old, yes? easter as in normal easter not the greek easter that is happening this weekend.

@ Alex – this issue of Hola! could be old because you’re right, Orthodox (not just Greek
) Easter was this weekend. But since Queen Sofia is Greek, they could very well celebrate both Catholic and Orthodox Easters.

Alex, the photos are a month old. They were taken in March.
