"My baby self weaned despite me trying to keep up the nursing! I find it so refreshing to hear Gwen talk about how hard she works to lose weight and keep herself in top shape. She looks great and has a beautiful family."

Tony Hawk and Lhotse furnish their daughter’s nursery at Layla Grayce

TonyhawkNurseryworksstudiocribProfessional skateboarder Tony Hawk and his wife, Lhotse, who are expecting their first child together — a girl– recently went shopping for nursery furniture at Layla Grayce

Among their purchases were a Nurseryworks modern Studio Crib ($1780), a Storytime Rocker ($800), and a Sleepytime Perch Stool ($424).

Layla Grayce refers to the Studio crib as being perfect for a "modern, masculine nursery" but we think it’s perfect for girls’ rooms too! Since the majority of nursery furniture is on the retro or ornate style, Nurseryworks is one of the few brands offering ultra-contemporary styles. We like that this crib  has an under crib drawer, hideaway changing table, and cabinet under the changing table. You can also purchase a kit to convert to a toddler "daybed" style.

Picture_3CBB Deal: Layla Grayce is offering a 15% discount with code CBBNURSERY on Nurseryworks products (excludes Nurseryworks items already on sale).  Expires 6/1/08.

I love the Nurseryworks crib, but it’s way too expensive for my budget. And I’ve read that the kind with attached dressers or bookcases can be unsafe–older babies will use that part to climb out and can fall. Still, it’s very attractive. I have the Nurseryworks Sleepytime rocker and I love it!
