Chris Noth on his ‘warrior’ son Orion
Orion Christopher Noth’s name has special meaning to his parents, Sex & the City’s Chris Noth, 53, and girlfriend Tara Wilson. After doctors failed to find the baby’s heartbeat at initial ultrasounds, it ultimately was shown beating strong at the following day’s checkup. Months later, the couple decided naming their now 3-month-old son after the warrior constellation Orion was an appropriate choice.
They basicallysaid, ‘You’re not going to have this baby. You’re going to have amiscarriage.’ She went home and talked to the baby allnight long, and the next day, [there was a] heartbeat. They said,’You’re having that baby.’ So he’s a warrior the way I look at it.

I saw the Oprah show yesterday – Orion is so cute! Can’t wait until SATC goes live. The real Mr. Big seems really friendly and funny.

It must’ve been incredibly scary to hear that your unborn basically had no chance of surviving. It’s great that little Orion made it, Chris and Tara definitely sound like they are enamored with their new baby.

Chris looks so good for 53, I thought he was in his 40’s. He was so sweet yesterday on oprah, and his baby is cute

I didn’t know this, I couldn’t imagine having to go thru that. So happy for them!
