Marc Anthony to bring Jennifer Lopez and the twins with him on tour
In June, singer Marc Anthony, 39, will be headed to Europe for his world tour, only this time he won’t be alone — for the first time, Jennifer Lopez, 38, and their twins, Max David and Emme Maribel, 11 weeks, will be joining him on the road. Marc, who will travel to six cities in Spain, couldn’t be happier that the two most important things to him — his family and his computer — will be with him during the short 8-day leg of the tour.
During a media conference today, Marc assured the press that when it comes to the traditional long list of special treats celebrities ask for in their dressing rooms, you can count him out, except for one major necessity: "little toys for the kids." After all, according to Marc, the twins, along with their mother, are his inspiration.
Thinking of them completes me. When I’m in Spain, since they will be with me, they will inspire me.
Marc will also begin recording two albums — one being salsa music and the other ballads — and hopes to have them finished by the end of the year.

Interesting…what about his other 3 children aren’t they an inspiration to him also? Love his music but I just find that statement very insenstive towards his other children.

I thought that too Lisa, but then he doesn’t actually specifically mention the twins in his quote, so we don’t know if he actually said ‘my children’ or ‘my family’.
However the ‘when they are with me in Spain part they will inspire me’ does seem a little insensative to his other children, I agree.

why do toys have to be provided to them? i mean i’ve heard of stars requesting the concert venue provide them with certain snacks or kinds of water, but i would think marc and jennifer could provide toys for their kids (who are going to be a little young to play with toys anyway…).

I don’t think Marc seems insensitive to his other children and he does say “his family” For all we know they could be going along too.

I thought also, wow that was insensitive Marc’s comment. I am glad for J-Lo and the fact that she is a mother finally after so many struggles. But Marc Anthony left his exwife with the other 2 children when they were very little I believe one was about 2 months. Interesting how much these kids inspire him?

I have a feeling marc acts like emme and max are his first kids. Not saying he doesn’t love his other children, but I have been a fan of his for many years and these babies are only 2 months and he already talks about them a lot more than I ever remember him talking about the other 3 kids. Since he has always loved jlo for years, I guess it’s a huge thing to him that they now have two children together.

I don’t think he’s being insensitive. He’s clearly talking about the current situation of them (the twins) being in Spain with him. He’s not saying they are his only inspiration. That’s why the word “since” is in the sentence.
We hear Marc talking about the twins more because he is married to an A-List, uber, international star. There is simply more interest in him than when he was with Dayannara (sp) and he oldest daughter’s mother and therefore he has more questions to answer.
I think the comment about toys in the dressing room was a bit of a joke, especially since it was a press conference. Marc is known in the industry as being completely low maintenance even when he could make outrageous demands and get them. I think if people want to jump through hoops for him, why not get something for the twins.
It seems to me the press conference was conducted in good fun with Marc being excited to bring his wife and children along. That should be commended and I say good for them. If he brings his other children along, terrific. If he doesn’t I’m sure it has more to do with scheduling then anything about he doesn’t love his other kids as much as he loves the twins. To assume that is completely ridiculous.

Mark and JLo be happy always!! Mark loves all his chilren. Every one has a pass, but life goes on. Let them be happy. We have only one life to live. I Love them both.

it says according to Mark the twins along with their mother will inspire me. That does sound insenstive to his older kids. If I didn’t know him I would think these are his first children.

I want to point out that what Mark actually said was, “When I am in Spain, since they will be with me, they will inspire me”. In otherwords, if his other kids were with him, they’d probably inspire him on the tour as well.
Also, I don’t know if this is true or not, but it could very well be that Mark has an agreement with Dayanarra and the mother of his oldest daughter that he will not mention those three kids in the press much, if at all (similar to how Oscar de la Hoya requested that Atiana not be featured much on Shanna and Travis’s reality show, or how Kerry Katona’s ex-husband has request that their two daughters not be featured in photoshoots and such very often).

I think they deserve to have their own family….everyone does…So what he left his xwife…maybe they had sum major issues that could’nt be resolved; O yeah Jennifer Lopez might be 38, but she was so beautiful and radiant when she was pregnant, I am happy for both and all of them. GOOD LUCK!!!

I think after almost $15,000,000 SPENT ON WEDDINGS, NEAR WEDDINGS AND RE-WEDDINGS, THIS COUPLE WOULD TAKE IT DOWN A NOTCH. WITH SO MUCH POVERTY IN THE LATIN-AMERICAN COMMUNITY, I THINK SOME OF THEIR BEHAVIOUR IS DECADENT BEYOND COMPREHENSION. I DO THINK THEY ARE SUITED FOR EACH OTHER. MAYBE JEN WAITED TO GET PREGNANT UNTIL MARC’S OTHER CHILDREN WERE OUT OF DIAPERS TO START “THEIR” FAMILY.

I think it’s great news that Marc, Jeniffer, Max and Emme are on tour with him. Just because he has new arrivals doesn’t mean he don’t love his other children. He has been linked to going to his other children’s birthday partys! And Baptism. Lets all be happy for the whole family. Yes, he is acknowledging the twins and Jlo are his aspiration now at the tour. He is acknowledging present time. Lets be happy for the whole family

Do you know which agency J. Lo and Marc Anthony went through to find a nanny? I am a professional nanny and would love to go through the agency they used to try and help them out. If not it is ok, I just thought I would try to find out some how. Thank you so much and have a wonderful day.
