Eight years ago, just when her career was taking off, Marissa was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She is now committed to spreading the word about how to prevent cervical cancer. In addition to the HPV vaccine for girls and younger women, regular screening with the Pap and, for women 30 or over, the digene HPV Test is critical.
