Carmen Electra not in a rush to be a mom
Carmen Electra recently became engaged to guitarist Rob Patterson and while marriage is on the way, the 36-year-old isn’t planning on rushing into motherhood.
I hope to be a mom some day, but I’m not rushing to be one. It would be a lot of fun. A lot of hard work, but I’ll look forward to it someday.

I am sure that when Carmen is ready, she will be a great mom. She seems to have a very loving and sweet personality.

I think it’s great that she’s not trying to rush into it, because even though you will never fully have it together or be ready for kids, you need to at least be open to that change in your life.
However, I’m not sure whether or not she’s in reality, as she is after all, 36. Sure, celebrities often seem to wait until they are premenopausal, but too often I’ve seen the frustration, followed by shock, and then sheer panic as that these “older” moms go through when they realize that your fertility isn’t always preserved by the best skin creams, sunscreen, and facials. Sadly, two of my aunts weren’t ready in their late 30s and ended up never being moms. Then a friend of mine has lost FIVE babies, all second or third trimester losses. My heart broke for her every time.
Celebrities have the resources to wait and usually they’ll get lucky, but it ’s not always so.

Technically speaking, when do your chances of falling pregnant go down- after 30 yrs old?
