Jodie Sweetin blogs about diet, exercise after baby
Add former Full House actress Jodie Sweetin to the growing list of celebrity moms who’ve signed on to NutriSystem in their efforts to shed those stubborn postpartum pounds. Since welcoming daughter Zoie Laurelmae, 6 ½-weeks, in April, Jodie says she still has about 25 pounds to lose. Now two weeks into her NutriSystem diet regimen and following her first session with a personal trainer Jodie says she’s excited for the "journey back to being in shape."
It feels really good to start being active again, it’s so easy to fall behind when you’re pregnant.
With summer just around the corner, Jodie said she feels particularly motivated to amp-up her efforts — which also include an hour of cardio at home each day.
Just yesterday it seems like I was huge, pregnant and it was Christmas. Now I have the challenge of losing that baby weight, a struggle for most new moms out there. And with bikini season approaching fast, I have no time to lose!

Good luck to her, nutrisystem works for most people though, and I’m sure she will lose it. And 25lbs to go, isn’t too bad considering her baby is not even 2 months yet.

At six weeks post partum, I certainly was not thinking about going on a diet…but hey! Everyone’s different. As long as the little peanut is getting the nutrition she needs, more power to Jodie.

ugh, I don’t know how people eat NutriSystem! I did it for one month and gagged with everything I tried to eat. I lost 6 pounds, which was nice, but I couldn’t stomach it any longer. I wasn’t really thinking about losing weight at 6 weeks post partum. I was too sleep deprived at that point it was all I could do to finish the laundry and take care of the baby!

I agree with tink. I’ve heard so much negativity about it. Anyway, isn’t baby Zoie supposed to be introduced to People sometime soon? That’s what I heard, but am not sure.

It takes nine months to gain it; give yourself nine months to lose it. Just nurse and enjoy your baby! Unless of course you’re trying to score some endorsement dollars with Nutri-System, I suppose.

I’ve always wondered about NutriSystem and their food. I don’t think I’d ever use it because I like to be in control of what I eat. And if it’s yucky then I’d really not like it! I’m very picky about my food.
Anyway, I want to see baby Zoie! I find it interesting how some celebrities are so fixated on their bodies and want to lose the weight RIGHT AWAY. I mean, I know in her industry it’s important to look good but still. I just find it odd.

I looked into the nutriSystem diet about 3-4 months after I gave birth to my daughter- when I filled out the survey it told me I couldn’t do it because I was nursing? Oh well, hopefully it works for Jodie!

When is she going to be in people????? I can’t wait to see her and her family, I’ve been a fan for so many years. I think she is the cutest thing ever I also really liked the fact she just painted that rubber ducky for that one charity, I thought that was really very sweet. Anyway because of this article I decided it’s time to try nutrisystem for myself. I just ordered my food for the month and already the selection sounds awesome. Well thank you as always c.b.b. for reporting on Mrs. Sweetin I really do love her and I hope I get to see more of her in the near future.

Laura, I think you can’t do it while nursing because it’s a low calorie diet, lower than the 1800/day you need for nursing. I guess this means she’s not nursing Zoie.
