Status Quo’s Rick Parfitt and wife welcome twins Tommy and Lily
English rock band Status Quo’s singer and guitarist Rick Parfitt, 59, and his wife Lyndsay Whitburn, 47, welcomed twins Tommy Oswald Parfitt and Lily Rose Parfitt on Monday, May 26th.
The couple announced the pregnancy in December and confirmed that the pregnancy was made possible with the help of in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Tommy and Lily join Rick’s sons Richard, 29, and Harry, 18, from previous relationships.

I have to mention it, because it’s the first thing I thought of – I know a kid called Tommy. He’s 14, and HATES that his given name is just ‘Tommy’. He begged me to call him Tom, and I’ve done so ever since, but the lad is still going to have to apply for jobs and so on with Tommy on his resume.
