"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Harold Perrineau Jr. and wife welcome daughter Wynter Aria

Brittanyp_alexa_12259441_maxcbbjpg0Lost actor Harold Perrineau Jr. is celebrating the birth of a new daughter.  He and wife Brittany welcomed Wynter Aria on May 7th, after what started out as a dramatic impending delivery that turned into a prolonged, drawn out affair. Said Harold,

My last day [of shooting the show] was kind of hectic. [Production] was trying to get me out because, at the time, my wife was a centimeter dilated. I got home and then for another week, the baby would not come! We were like, ‘Seriously, dude, I was in Hawaii rushing like a madman!’ I was talking to the baby, my wife was walking around, practically hiking, but the baby just would not come out!

After an induction, Wynter was born healthy and happy.  Harold, 44, said they chose the name because "it’s poetic."  He added,

She’s a little poetry in our life.

Wynter joins big sister Aurora, 12, at home.

Is there really a mad rush to get home when a woman is only 1 cm dialated? I’ve never been pregnant so I don’t know – but isn’t it not unusual for a woman to be 1 cm dialated when she’s in later stages of her pregnancy but nowhere near ready to give birth yet? Someone please educate me! :)

I’m so proud that an actor in one of my favorite shows used ‘Aria’ as a name!! And she’s biracial like me too :)

  12. Sanja Says:

Are they both Aurora’s parents or just Harold? His wife looks too young to have a 12 year old.

  13. Lala Says:

@ Jen: He had to fly in from Hawaii to wherever he actually lives (LA, probably?), that’s why he was in a rush.

  14. Matt Says:

They are both Aurora’s parents. Brittany is Auroa’s Mom for sure.
