I just have to say I LOVE how much Brad and Angelina seem to hold all of their children. It seems they are never photographed without one or two kids in their arms. A 6 year old boy is a big boy and quite heavy! It’s so nice that they all seem to get special physical contact like that. I don’t think I could carry a 6 year old around!

I LOVE how Brad and Angelina make the effort to spend time with each of their children. Especially Maddox, who is now old enough to know these things:) I wish the gorgeous family lots of luck with the upcoming birth of their twins, who I am certain will be absolutely beautiful!!

They are so cute together! I can’t believe how big Maddox has gotten, either. He’s going to be very handsome when he grows up.

Too cute. Love that family.

Ha…Maddox looks like a little man in that second pic

Maddy is my favorite celebrity child. And I love how Brad stepped up to the plate to be a full-fledged father to him after he began his relationship with Angelina.

I really wish some people wouldn’t say “this is my favourite celebrity child” I find it creepy. I have children and I wouldn’t anyone else to favour one of them in the same way I don’t favour any of them. They’re all equal.
Also, please don’t put a beautiful child in shades. Let’s see the eyes.

Mad is seriously the coolest kid ever. Scratch that — coolest person ever.

Cute!
Maddox’s backback is from Decathlon, you can see it here:

It was very sunny in Italy as we can see in the pictures so why wouldn’t Maddox be wearing shades? Also, maybe he just wanted to wear them so he could look like his dad. Kids are like that. Maddox is one of the mose photographed children around at the moment; we know what his eyes look like.
I agree with you Brooke. It wouldn’t have mattered how much Angelina was in love with Brad, if he didn’t cut it as a father to Maddox, there would be no way she would have let him into their lives. I for one am glad she did! =)

I still remember he was crying forwanting family on TV. It was 2004. He came long way.

For some reason I just can’t get enough of this family! I can’t believe how big Maddox is now …. and yes a 6 1/2 year old child is very heavy. My daughter is 7 1/2 and still thinks she’s supposed to be carried … it’s hard especially on ur back. lol

Too adorable. I bet Maddox loved getting some special time away with his Dad. What little boy doesn’t love car racing?
SJ – shades are recommended as protection from the sun, as important as sunscreen. The eyes can be easily damaged from UV exposure. If anything, Maddox is setting a good example by wearing them here.
June 1st, 2008 at 8:09 pm
SJ – seriously? Don’t put a kid in shades? I think that’s actually quite responsible to keep his eyes shaded on a hot summer day in Italy! I totally didn’t understand that comment at all.
Maddox and Brad have the exact same expression in the first photo! It’s great to see them out and about, spending special quality time with each other.

I think it’s great he’s wearing sunglasses–protect those little eyes!
June 1st, 2008 at 8:32 pm
He is so cute. I wish I could get my kid to wear her sunglasses to protect her eyes but she just won’t leave them on.

I’m glad to see that both Brad and Maddox are wearing sun protection and ear plugs. Brad seems like such a responsible, caring, hands-on father to all his children, it warms my heart to see it. There appears to be no ‘do as I say, not as I do’ rubbish, he sets a good example.
Maddox has amazing poise and dignity for a child so young, I’ve thought so for a couple of years now. He always keeps his composure infront of the paparazzi, he knows exactly how to handle them. That is a sad thing, really, in the scheme of things, but is it still good to see.
I can’t imagine Maddox or any of the other Jolie-Pitts becoming spoilt socialites or drug-addicted alcoholics in the future, Brad and Angelina are raising a lovely family.

Cute photos and I agree about the shades. I love the one on one time or two or three with the parents or one parent. FYI, it was motorcycle racing, not cars, even more appropriate for Brad.
If anyone still has any doubts that she did not give birth or is near, Brad being in another country should settle that. He would never leave her if she was close or had given birth last week. Thanks.

Maddox is one hip little dude. Love his hair.
June 1st, 2008 at 10:14 pm
What a difference a few years made. Maddox was an only child for 4years, and now he will have 5 siblings all pretty close in age.
June 1st, 2008 at 10:38 pm
The shades are protective, as are the earplugs! So nice to see them both wearing them at a noisy event!
June 1st, 2008 at 11:00 pm
Maddox is cute! I love Brad, too. However, I find it interesting how celebs insist on carrying kids that old! I mean, my kids would be embarrassed if I carried them in public at 6 lol! Not that I mean anything bad by it, I just find it interesting that a lot of celebs do this with older kids.

Don’t put a kid in shades?!! What??!! I am disgusted that they are actuyally approving thes types of comments. Whatever sells, but seriously. SERIOUSLY!

here’s a video:

It was very sunny here in Italy yesterday, so it’s good for Maddox to wear sun glasses, my daughter is 3 yrs old, and she wears them too, to protect eyes from the sun.

Kelly – Brad doesn’t appear to be carrying Maddox, I think he’s just picking him up, as though to show him something he’s too short to see maybe? Although I don’t know for sure of course! (and it’s always hard to tell what’s going on at the best of times – I recently saw a paparazzi picture where it looked like the mother was holding her hand over the child’s face, as though to slap her. In reality – if you saw the picture before and after – she was just applying sunscreen. Still, it always makes me think of the horrible headlines tabloids could run with awkwardly posed pictures like that).
Mary, that’s a good point, and it does seem to confirm Angelina has not given birth (and probably isn’t imminent either, or on bedrest). I doubt very much Brad would leave her with three small children if she couldn’t manage, even with help.

They look so quite together. I am 27 and Brad can carry me on his arm any time he wants! No matter how old I am.
As for SJ’s comment, I think she just meant that him being such a gorgeous boy, she prefered to see him without the sunglasses on to see his full face. More like a joke than a serious comment that children shouldn’t wear sun glasses. Just my thought…

His backpack is from a french sport shop called Decathlon – one that size would only cost about 10 euros. I love how they mix it up – with boutique buys and high street.

It was very sunny and hot in Italy yesterday. Shades are a must, especially in a place like Mugello, where there are miles and miles of concrete.
I think Brad was lifting Maddox to show him the bikes and/or pilots, since there’s a tall protection wall all around. And a lot of people, so it might be hard to see for kid.
Brad and Maddox saw a spectacular race yesterday, with Vale being his usual amazing self!
(sorry if I said something wrong, English isn’t my first language)

Maddox just looks so “cool” in those pics. I’ve always gotten that vide from him even when he was a baby! He seems like he’s 6 going on 16!
June 2nd, 2008 at 5:48 pm
Love seeing these two out and about. It’s cute how they are wearing similar open-mouthed expression in the first one.
Always good to see some ear protection and glasses when needed. Seems the first one was taken after the second photo, since he has the orange plugs in stead of the blue wraparound pair he had.

Some of you women complain about EVERYTHING. From Suri not wearing socks, Maddox wearing
sunglasses, D’Lila and Jessie not wearing shoes and white dresses, some celebs are always told that is not their kid because of their skin color and why did they adopt from Africa. Life is too short to complain ALL THE TIME!!

It is actually more important for children to wear sunglasses than adults. Look it up and verify if need be. I wonder when I see pictures of adults in sunglasses and their poor children are left w/out to deal w/ the effects of UV, UA and UAB rays. Good for dad to protect his boys eyes. Father and son are adorable.
