UPPAbaby Bubble: Through snow, wind and rain, protect your infant car seat

Image_1_defaultEver tried to tote your infant car seat in bad weather? Even using a huge umbrella, one of you is going to get soaked (okay, you are). For a better solution, try the UPPAbaby Bubble ($19.99). It will protect your baby’s infant car seat from the elements, whether you are holding or strolling with your infant car seat and you’ll get to use the umbrella at the same time.

The Bubble pops right open from its package and fits right over your baby’s infant car seat. It will protect your babe from rain, wind, sun and bugs. It’s from the cool folks that brought you the awesome UPPAbaby Vista Stroller, which I reviewed last year (click here to read the review).

My favorite part is that it pops-up, right out of its carry bag and was so easy to get on and off quickly. When there is a hint of bad weather or extreme sun, I store it in my stroller’s basket or trunk. I can just pop it on quickly and I know my baby is not going to get rained on. It’s especially useful when I am using my stroller frame with the infant car seat attached, because none of the stroller weather protectors I have for rain or sun protection actually cover the infant car seat correctly. The Bubble will also make a great gift for a new parent. It won’t interfere with strapping your baby in and there’s more than enough ventilation. You also get easy ‘zip-in’ access to your baby. To use the Bubble, push the carry bar out of the way, then unfold it from its bag. Place the fabric around the foot of the car seat and pull the elastic around the back of the car seat. Then raise the carry handle over the Bubble and you’re good to go!

Features:

  • Fold out sun protection layer- SPF 50+
  • Fold out wind/rain protection layer
  • Zip open insect protection layer
  • Universal fit compatible with most infant car seats
  • Pop-open action, no assembly required
  • Lightweight and easy to fit, folds into travel bag
  • Go to UPPAbaby.com to find a retailer.

I agree…the UppaBaby Bubble is the best! Especially since you’re not supposed to use sunscreen on infants, the cover is perfect for protecting baby during summer strolls/travel. I love ALL UppaBaby products. I own their Vista Stroller and plan on buying their G-Lite stroller for our summer vacation.
