Update: Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham expecting third child
Update: Mark confirmed on Today that the baby is a boy and will arrive in September.
Update June 9th: Mark has confirmed to People that he and Rhea are expecting their third child. No due date has been given, but Mark admitted that the family isn’t sure if they will stop at three children or not.
When the kids are good, we want eight or nine. When they’re bad, we [want] to stop at three.
Originally posted April 23rd: OK! magazine is reporting that actor Mark Wahlberg, 36, and his fiancée Rhea Durham, 29, are apparently expecting their third child, a son in September.

A friend of the couple told the magazine,
Mark is thrilled to be having another baby. He is an amazing dad, and his two children are his world. He always used to joke about wanting at least a dozen kids, but it looks like he wasn’t joking after all.
The new baby will join the couple’s two children, Ella Rae, 4 ½, and Michael, 2.

so they are engaged now??? I didn’t know that! If this is true…congrats!! Is that a recent pic of them?? Who would have thought Marky Mark, the pants dropper, would become an Oscar nominated actor with kids?? Not me!! Very cool news if its true!

No, that picture was taken at the 2007 Oscars. Rhea has said she wanted two more kids after Ella and Michael. Yay for them!!

What ET has looks like it’s just a repeat of the OK Mag info to me, I didn’t see a confirmation from a rep or anything?

I won’t trust the announcement until its not a rumor here anymore and People magazine confirms. From what I have been reading they have been engaged for 4 yrs?? I had no clue!!

I was hoping this is a rumor instead of being true because of many reasons that can’t be posted on here. I hope he never marries her. They have been together and broken up back and forth so much it’s not secure.

Alicia- How is it “finally confirmed”? As far as I know, only OK and ET have reported it. OK is a tabloid that is generally not very trustworthy (although they are slightly more credible then Star and Life & Style, and possibly In Touch). While ET is generally more accurate than the tabs, I still wouldn’t call their report a confirmation.
I will start to seriously believe this rumor if US Weekly reports it (they’re generally very reliable), and I will believe it 100 percent when People reports it.

Hey CelebBabyLover- I said it was finally confirmed when pretty much every reliable and not so reliable newspapers/tv sources did confirm the pregnancy that day. I love Rhea Durham and Mark Wahlberg so I was checking the news constantly that day.

That’s wonderful! Mark looks like a wonderful daddy. I had the fortunate pleasure of meeting him and he’s an absolute delight!!
And that’s funny on days the kids I watch act up I swear I’m not having any and then when they do something so loving I’m like ready to have kids tomorrow. I think everybody feels like that!
