Alicia Machado leaves Mexico City in preparation for delivery

Former Miss Universe, Alicia Machado, 31, is only days away from giving birth to her first child — a daughter — and has already made the final preparations.  Alicia recently decided to leave stressful Mexico City behind and move to a more tranquil environment for the time being.  The rationale behind that choice?  According to an unidentified source, Alicia — who "is happy and looks more beautiful than ever" — wants to fully enjoy the whole birthing experience.  Said the source,

Alicia decided to get out of the Federal District because she wanted to be very calm along with her partner.  Both are [temporarily staying] on the outskirts [of the city].

Originally from Venezuela, Alicia has commented in the past that she considers Mexico her second home and has made it clear that her baby girl will be of Mexican nationality.
