Heidi Klum says life is ‘kind of perfect’

Tags: Dads, News, Quotes

Heidiklumcover Things couldn’t be better for Heidi Klum.  The 35-year-old supermodel has three kids — Leni, 4, Henry, 2 ½ and Johan, 18-months — a happy marriage to musician Seal and a hit reality television show in Project Runway, leading her to admit that life is "kind of perfect." When asked by Redbook for its July 2008 issue just how perfect, Heidi replied,

Picket fence and the kids are playing in the garden? It’s kind of like that. The only thing missing is the dog.

The chemistry between she and Seal was obvious "from the get-go," Heidi said, and their attraction was only fueled by their mutual love of children.  It’s that same love which might even lead the couple to add a fourth child to their family, Heidi revealed, adding,

So many people say, ‘I am so done.’ That hasn’t come out of my mouth, and it hasn’t come out of Seal’s mouth either.  I feel like we still have one coming.

I know what Heidi is talking in respect to the “I’m so done” comment. I remember all of my friends saying that after their second was born. After our second was born and we had both a son and a daughter I thought my husband and I would be finished…we always said we wanted two. But we just never had that done feeling. I called all of my friends and asked how they knew they were done…and they said they just knew.

    I’m now pregnant with #3.

    Uggamugga, congratulations !!!

I haven’t heard Heidi say she’s done but I recall reading somewhere that three is enough for her. If they want another one, I will be so happy for them !!! They are awesome family

I know what shes saying too! I know everyone in my circle of friends has said they are done and after our 3rd we never said that either. My kids are just as close in age has hers, i had 2.5 yo,14 months and a newborn.

Our 4th will be a year old on Friday..:)

I’d LOVE to see her and Seal have a little girl… that would be one lovely little bambina…

I think if they have a fourth, they would have another boy.

Yes, she really does have it all and she works very hard at it.

i remember seeing her on conon o’bian in march 2006, he asked her if she wanted a 3rd child, at that time, Leni was not even 2, and Henry was a few months old. She smiled and said “maybe”. But she was in fact already pregnant, so in my opinion, if she said that she’s not done yet, and that she hopes to have another kid, it has to means that she’s expecting again. I bet everyone here that in a couple of months she will annonce that she’s pregnant! i hope i’m right, cause they sure make a beautiful family and another child is always a blessing.

  8. Bren Says:

Yay!! More Samuel-Klum children!! They are such a cute family!!

  9. Kat Says:

I totally know what she means. I have a friend who has had 11 pregnancies (4 were as a surrogate) and has 6 living children and she’s got that “I’m so done” thing going… and I understand it for her.

For me, I have 3 and some days I feel like our family might be complete, just wondering how I would deal with another baby, but then there are times when I just feel like someone is missing.

I’m not going to say for sure one way or the other until I see what happens, cause I figure that, eventually, the doubt will resolve itself and we’ll either have another child (or two?) or one of us will go get a procedure to prevent more kids.
