Spears clan reconvenes in Louisiana for birth
With Jamie Lynn Spears expected to deliver her daughter in the next few days, the California half of the family has arrived in Louisiana, People.com reports. Popstar Britney Spears, 26, along with brother Bryan, 31, father Jamie, and an assistant touched down in the southern state earlier this afternoon and will visit the hospital, where Jamie Lynn is said to be checking in, on Friday morning.
Jamie Lynn, 17, and fiancé Casey Aldridge have spent the pregnancy in Louisiana, with mother Lynne living recent months there as well.

I hope that her mother will not continue with her plans to sell the pictures to make $$, but instead, that Jamie Lynn herself will introduce her baby to us when and how she wants herself

I also wonder if there will be any pictures of Jamie Lynn now. I know that she preffers privacy though and looks like everyone is respecting it !!

Say, I am curious, did the Spears gather like this when Britney gave birth to her two kids? Good luck to Jamie Lynn and Casey. It’s going to be tough being such young parents, but hopefully Jamie will learn from her big sister’s unfortunate public mistakes.

I hope Jamie Lynn can have a smooth delivery, which if she can do it naturally, that’d be cool, but if she must have a c-section I wouldn’t be surprised.
I just hope Jamie Lynn can avoid some of the motherhood issues that her older sis Britney has had for the past 3 yrs or so. (Britney’s even lost custody of her two little boys, which is sad imho.)
Jamie Lynn already has her critics (mainly for being a teenage mom…and Britney’s sister), however hopefully she can rise above it and be a good mother to her surely beautiful little girl.

That’s so wonderful that they’re all gathering around her for the birth, seems like the family’s in a good place.
Can’t wait to hear what Jamie Lynn names her daughter, especially curious if it’ll continue the tradtion of the Lynn, maybe with something like Madelyn, Evelyn, Jaclyn…

I am soo happy for jamie and casey, even though they are young i do expect them to be very good parents and im happy to see them together and handling things maturely. I cannot wait for their baby girl to arrive! I love the spears’ and cannot wait to hear the name and to see the beautiful baby! Congrats Jamie and Casey!

Just sent in a tip, according to the NE via ONTD, Jamie-Lynn delivered her daughter at 830 am this morning, via C-section, in L.A.
Not sure how reliable the National Enquirer is, but a friend of Jamie-Lynn’s made a post from JL’s myspace to say that Jamie-Lynn was headed to the hospital this morning to be induced, so who knows! I guess we’ll see soon enough!

DLR- No, I don’t think they did. Keep in mind, though, that Britney was estranged from her dad at the time. I don’t remember whether she was estranged from her mother at that point. I do, however, think that Lynne visited Britney shortly after the birth of at least one of her boys.
