Featured Review: Mally bibs: Everything’s better in leather
by Stephanie:
We stopped using bibs in our house when my son started refusing to wearthem. He’s rather convincing, so I resigned myself to doing morelaundry. Fast forward a year or two, to the day I opened a package frommally bibs. Two beautiful leather bibs — yes, leather! — slid out and my son’s shirts have been clean ever since!
Made from special kid-safe leather that easily wipes clean with a wet cloth, mally bibs aren’t your average bibs. But yours aren’t the average kids, either, are they?

These bibs are expensive, but worth every single cent!
I have the pink and brown “sushi” bin for my daughter.
What I love about it is the fact that I wipe it off and just toss it onto the front of my fridge! Literally!! (magnetic back closure)
I use it all the time. Not only are they practical, they are totally adorable!!!
Highly recommended by this CBB reader!!
(And they are Canadian too!!)

I think that vegans would agree that “everything is NOT better in leather.”

We have had one of these for our 26mth old for nine months now. Still looks as good as new, but food can get stuck in the applique and stitching–nothing a gentle scrub with a nail brush can’t fix!

I am interested in these bibs. But what about juice and formula running down the front and ending up on their laps? Sometimes I use the terry cloth bibs to wipe my daughter’s chin. Are these bibs more suitable for babies who are dribbling or spitting up?

I have these bibs and they are great! They are also reversible, so the other side has a pocket to catch spills. I find I mostly use the picture side though because my daughter likes the butterfly facing out, lol. Most baby foods cling to the leather pretty good anyways, yet it doesn’t stain! It’s the only bib we use.
