Indio is a cute kid. Not so sure it’s such a great idea for his father to smoke in front of him though…I assume peer pressure is huge at the age of 14.

Indio is awesome and he’s in a really good up & coming band in LA where he plays guitar (The Jack Bambis)… so perhaps someday soon he will be a star in his own right. I think its great how Robert is VERY involved with Indio right from when he was born until now, despite all his problems RDJ has always been a great dad to Indio.

I agree that a parent shouldn’t be smoking around his child. However, considering Indio is 14, and all the other things his dad USED to do, but isn’t now, I think we should cut him a little slack!

Oh, and without being controversial, is it possible that Indio is ALREADY a smoker? He appears to have something white rolled up and hidden in his left hand (same as Dad)…. just an idea, but with paps there, they may have JUST put it out of view.

Completely agree Shelby. With RDJ being a recovering addict if all he’s doing now is smoking that’s a victory. I bet his son looks up to his dad and all that he’s overcome.

Yeah, I really hope Robert or Deborah would not allow their 14 year old to walk around the streets of LA smoking a cig, ecspecially with one of them present! Ecspecially not with photograhers hot on Roberts tail right now. Hopefully it is something else in Indio’s hand… :\

They are so alike. Like twins, same body movement and everything.
I don’t think that’s a cigarette in Indio’s hand. But, my step dad used to smoke around me and my little brothers all the time. I hated it, still do. But, then again, it might not be the same for him.

A large percentage of recovering addicts smoke cigarettes. Maybe he only smokes outside when he has his son with him. Being a smoker and letting your child see you smoke does not make you a bad parent.

Oh dear, Robert is still smoking. Let’s hope his son doesn’t take up that narsty habit. They look exactly alike with that bent arm thing. Even their hands look alike. So cute!

um i was just gonna say that im the same age as Indio & my mother has been smoking around me as long as i can remeber in between her 4 other pregnancies of course & it had the complete opposite effect on me i hate the way it smells & its just gross to me & i dont want anyone on here getting all upset i mean she smokes around me in the car & when shes with her friends never in the house or our yard but even what ive been around when shes smoking is gross so i know i will never become a smoker like that & thats all i wanted to say is that maybe hes like me

Given RDJ’s previous problems with drugs, smoking a cigarette would be the least of my worries.
That said, Indio strongly resembles his dad but I think in a few years, he’ll definitely grow into his own. I’ve heard many reviews about his band and if all goes well, he’ll make a name for himself.

Smoking in front of a child is *so* not an issue. My mother smoked in front of me all my life and me and my two brothers are non-smokers.

As for smoking in front of your kids. My mom and step mom do it – only outside and not when it get anywhere near us. It’s made me hate it more, actually, and that’s what I find to be true of friends, as well. Having grown up in a time when cigarettes are bashed in commercials 100 times a day, seeing your parents and grandparents smoking and knowing what it is doing to them would probably be a better way to be AGAINST smoking all together, I think.

Haha… a Batman shirt and buckle, I love it. That Indio sure has a sense of humor. It is completely adorable that their body language is almost exactly the same… so cute! Also, I don’t think that’s a cigarette rolled up in his hand. I doubt that Robert would let his 14-year-old son smoke in public, what with all of the media attention he’s been getting lately for Iron Man… that would just not be a good idea. Now, whether or not Indio smokes at all … I have no idea, seeing as I don’t know him personally. Although, one would hope not. I wonder what IS in Indio’s hand?? Hmmm…

I really don’t think its a cigarette in his hand (Indio’s). It looks like a balled up peice of paper or something. I dont think it looks anything like a cigarette, then again it might just be the angle. Plus he’s 14! If RDJ is letting his kid smoke after all he just overcame, he’s not very smart, but i think he knows better, haha. I love the batman clothesssss, its great.

People need to stop picking on Robert.I look up to him because he fought an addiction.and a lot of people smoke infront of their children so people shouldn’t point him out.other than that he is a wonderful man and a dad. He’s always been there for indio.indio is great he is such a great person.I’m glad he’s taking up music because I play gutiar too.when they make it big and I hope they do I will be a number one fan.the family are such beauitful people on the outside and inside.

TRUST ME. If Robert caught Indio smoking he would kick his butt! lol. I love Robert and Indio. same body movements and facial expressions
