I still can’t believe Heath is gone.
When you look at Matilda, all you see is him. She’s the exact image of him in female form! 
Amazing. I always thought when we saw some of the recent pics of Heath & Matilda, that he wasn’t looking good like something was wrong with him. He was really pale looking and frail. I’m so glad that he & Michelle had Matilda that part of him still lives on through her! Just like Anna Nicole and Larry Birkhead~glad they had Dannielynn! Perhaps these two precious girls will become close kindreds one day!

Matilda Ledger is my absolute favourite celebrity baby ever! I love this little family, so cute. And Matilda is just the image of her daddy, heartbreaking but heartwarming at the same time. Mummy Michelle seems to be a fantastic parent. Love love love love this mummy/daughter duo.

I know I say this every time I see Matilda but she looks so much like Heath. So much! It is still so strange not to see Heath out with Matilda. And so sad.

I think it’s wonderful that Michelle is making such an effort to involve Heath’s family as much as possible in Matilda’s life even when they’re continents apart. My parents separated when I was an infant and my father died a few years later. Although my mother hadn’t seen much of my father’s family at all in the years leading up to his death she made such an effort for them to remain part of our lives and I applaud her for that. I treasure having my father’s family in my life and am so glad that Michelle is providing the same stability for Matilda.

This is not Nathan Buckey! This is Trevor di Carlo, a very very good and close friend of Heath. Some Reporters said he is Kates husband at Heaths funeral, but this is wrong.

I think it’s fantastic that she’s involving his best friend in little Matilda’s life, i’m sure Heath would want that.

I am currently watching Brokeback Mountain and wow the resemblance between Heath & Matilda is almost unbearable. R.I.P Mr. Ledger ♥

When I saw these photos this morning, it uplifted my heart. Trevor was Heath’s best friend since they were 3 years old. He visited Heath for the month of November last year, and Matilda is very familiar with him. Few people knew Heath better, and Trevor is the perfect person to step up and be a male role model. My heart is touched that he’s going to be in her life, and that he’ll keep her father’s Aussie heritage in her life.
I miss Heath daily, and know that those who knew him best will never let Matilda forget him.

Oh yes, Matilda is the spitting image of her daddy. I agree it is a terrific thing that Michelle keeps closely friends and family to keep Matilda connected.
I also applaud Michelle for being not just a great mom, but also a practical person. She isn’t this star stuck person who is all glitz and glamour. She appears to be someone who is very grounded. She does what she has to for her career and still tries to maintain a normal, well adjusted life for her and her daughter. Kudos to you, Michelle. I, too, love to see pics even though I do know that sometimes it is an intrusion on her privacy. Michelle, we just love you and Matilda!
