"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Pavlos and Marie-Chantal of Greece welcome fifth child

Tags: Births, Royalty

Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece, 41, and his wife, Princess Marie-Chantal, 39, have welcomed their fifth child, a son. The baby boy, who’s name has not been announced, arrived at 6:45 a.m. at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Sunday, June 29th. He weighed in at 8 lbs, 8 oz, and mother and son are doing "very well," according to a rep.

The new baby joins siblings Princess Maria-Olympia, 11 ½, Prince Constantine Alexios, 9 ½, Prince Achileas-Andreas, 7 ½, and Prince Odysseas-Kimon, 3 ½. The pregnancy was announced in January.

The family continues to use their courtesy European royalty titles; however, the Hellenic Republic abolished the monarchy in 1974.

They had the baby in CA? Why? Do they not live in Greece?

  2. Lynsey Says:

No, they don’t live in Greece. Only recently did King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie get the right to move back to Tatoi Palace in Greece, but AFAIK, none of their children live in Greece. Pavlos & Marie-Chantal live in London, Alexia lives in Spain (more specifically the Canary Islands) Nikolaos and Theodora live in London and Philippos is a student at Georgetown in the US.

The reason they probably went to Cedars-Sinai is because when Marie-Chantal had Odysseas-Kimon, she experienced a lot of blood loss, and both she and Odysseas nearly died, so this time, they wanted to take extra precaution and had the baby at a well-respected and state-of-the-art hospital in case of an emergency.

Aww I was so hoping for them to have a second daughter. They have beautiful boys though so I’m sure this one will be no different. I can’t wait to hear is name.

  4. MB Says:

    Thanks Lynsey :-)

  5. Judy Says:

Nice to hear they are still together. Of the three sisters (Pia, Marie-Chantal and Alexandra), Marie-Chantal’s marriage is the only one that has worked out.

  6. Bethany Says:

congratulations CBB for finally including the fact that Greece NO LONGER has a royal family and that it was abolished in the 70s. as a proud greek i am not denying our history and the fact that we had a royal family but it kinda annoys me that a lot of media outlets continue to use their titles without adding the fact that they’re not legitimate royals anymore. totally off topic i know but thanks CBB for getting it right!

  7. Piper Says:

According to wikipedia the baby’s name is Aristidis Stavros
