Tony and Lhotse Hawk welcome daughter Kadence Clover
Skater Tony Hawk, 40, and wife Lhotse Merriam Hawk, 35, have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl. Daughter Kadence Clover Hawk was born Monday, June 30th at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, CA. She weighed 8 lbs, 8 oz and was 21 inches long.
Kadence joins big brothers Riley, 15, Spencer, 8 ½, and Keegan, 7 this month, Tony’s sons from his previous marriages, who are "super excited to have a baby sister." Lhotse will be released from the hospital on Thursday.
The couple announced the pregnancy in February, revealing the sex later that month. Lhotse’s due date had been June 15th.

They took my name! We were going to name our next daughter Cadence! Not that we still can’t, but I never thought I would see it on CBB.

Anytime I hear the name Cadence I think of the little girl in the burn unit from the movie Shallow Hall.

How cool! It’s hard to think of Tony as ‘all grown up’ but here he is. He’s hardly changed, really. Must be a healthy lifestyle… and a beautiful wife. They eat their veggies and drink Purple and chase kids all day, lol. Sounds like a fun life. Congrats to all of them!

Yay finally a celeb uses my daughter’s name! We have a three year old and her name is Caydence Ryleigh. I’ve loved the name Caydence for a long time. Congrats to them!

kait, it’s pronounced “LOT-see”. i had a friend in college with the same name.
i think the middle name clover is cute! seems like lhotse has been pregnant forever! i thought she’d given birth awhile ago and we just hadn’t heard about it.
wonder why CBB is reporting lhotse’s middle name as merriam if imdb says it’s clover….wonder which is correct or if she has 2 middle names?

I believe, according to the Cribs Tony Hawk episode, her name is pronounced Loht-see. I think both names are very unique and pretty.
