We went to a Carnival (German/American) over here in Germany,its every year so it became a tradition.At around 10:45pm the fireworks began and the highlight was when the american flag was dropped from the sky.

This year I took my friends 2 kids along which came to a total of 5 (2 of them being my 11 mos and her 10 mos old)all the kids loved the fireworks,dont know how many times i heard COOL or SOOOOO COOL,lol

Our gated community is having a big fireworks display over the lake a little later so we're gonna let our 4 year old son stay up and go down to that in a little bit, thankfully he napped this afternoon as I can see it being a late night!</p> </div>

It is a huge deal here. We then went and had BBQ at my parents house, as it is my mom's birthday. We went back to the festival and walked around and had carnival-type food for dinner/dessert. We are going to go and watch fireworks tonight.</p> <p>Later this weekend we are going to my father-in-law's house for his birthday. It is a whole big celebration weekend for us.</p></div>

They just recently built "paradise" complete with a palm tree hammock, fireplace, grill, indoor shower/plumbing/AC (my favorite) jet skiing, boating and more!
