Luke Perry teaches son the basics of Browns fandom
Celebrity parents Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth are part of the original 90210 cast who will be reappearing in the show’s spin-off this fall, but don’t expect Luke Perry to follow in their footsteps. The 42-year-old dad would much rather spend time visiting his home state of Ohio with Jack, his 12-year-old son.
In fact, going back to Ohio and teaching his son about football is one of his favorite pastimes. Luke and Jack were able to attend a Cleveland Browns game last year and the actor loved sharing the basics of football with his son.
It was great to be there with my son and to explain to him: ‘Now here we have the Ravens, and we hate the Ravens …”
Luke also has a daughter Sophie, 7. Jack and Sophie’s mom is former model Rachel Minnie Sharp.

Um, that would be the Cleveland Indians baseball team. The Browns are the football team of Cleveland.

What a great story to tell your child. As a former Clevelander(now in Charlotte, NC)I totally understand the importance of the history of the Browns football and the heartbreak. The love of the Browns is a great legacy. Go Browns!

I think he is an awesome dad. When are we ever going to see pictures of Jack and Sophie. I think they would be such adorable kids.

Go Browns! I wonder if he told his son about hating the Steelers, too? That’s a rivalry that goes even farther back!

As a Pittsburgh native, I have feeling the Steelers were included in that conversation. We have family from all four cities in our division and some of the enthusiastic members have come to physical blows.

Wow, I’ve been watching Beverly Hills reruns and I can’t believe that most of them have kids, some even teenagers! Dylan has 2, Kelly has 3, Donna has 2, David has a son, Brendon a daughet, etc.
Do Andrea and Steve have any kids?

I believe that Gabrielle Carteris (Andrea) has a couple of kids, but Ian Ziering (Steve) and Shannon Doherty (Brenda) are the only two original cast members that don’t.
I think Luke may have been the first one to have any kids, unless Gabrielle had some first.
