Son’s poetry melts Brendan Fraser’s heart
Brendan Fraser may be a movie star, but to his sons Griffin, 5, Holden, 4, and Leland, 2, he is just the "guy who brings them Pirate’s Booty when they’re hungry." It doesn’t matter if the 39-year-old actor shows his sons "a picture of me flying through the air with a monster," the boys still are not impressed. While Brendan may not make an impression on his sons, they sure do make one on him.
The other day, when my 4-year-old saw a flowering tree and said, "Daddy, it’s raining petals," that was poetry that just melted my heart into a mushy, yummy Fudgsicle.
Fatherhood helped Brendan take on his role as a dad in the latest installment of The Mummy trilogy, entitled The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. In the film Brendan plays father to actor Luke Ford, but insists that it wasn’t hard to do, because paternal love now "flows out of me naturally" thanks to his three sons.
The Mummy comes to the big screen on August 1st. Brendan and his estranged wife, actress Afton Smith, have been married for nine years, but filed for divorce last December.

That’s beautiful, sounds like Brendans boy is a little poet already. He seems like a great daddy

I love Brendan Fraser. I want to be his next wife. The only problem is, if I ever met him I’d turn into a studdering, smiling, blushing, fool. But it would be a dream come true for real. I don’t care if he is 10 years older than me. He’s gorgeous.

Kids are so precious and when something so sweet and innocent comes out like that it really does touch the heart.
