Pete Wentz: From rockstar to rocking chair
Dad-to-be Pete Wentz may be known for his rockstar ways, but today the Fall Out Boy bassist told radio host Ryan Seacrest, "I’m becoming my dad."
I get up at 7 a.m. to drive [to work] down Sunset with traffic that Icomplain about. And then I come home, and I have a pregnant wife andtwo puppies.
Pete, 29, says that so far, his main daddy duties have been "cleaning up puppy poop" and taking care of wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, 23, who’s currently craving "green olives on everything." Of doctor visits and fatherhood, Pete says "It’s really, really, really, really exciting."
[I was told] women become mothers when they become pregnant and [men] become fathers when the baby is born. So I don’t feel all the physical things, but when I’m in the doctor’s office, I freak out — it’s this crazy thing, this thing you made.
The couple has not revealed their baby’s sex, and Pete claims not to know, saying he’s "hoping the doctor will be able to see something in the next couple of weeks." They expect their baby in the fall.

So I guess Petit Tresor was again making false claims about customer purchases (re the report that Ashlee and Pete had been in and registered for all boy gifts).

I thought she was supposed to be like almost 6 months pregnant? Wouldn’t they know the sex by now…

Erica- Not neccesarily. The baby may not have been cooperating during previous ultrasounds.

I think it’ll be a boy. For some reason I see them with a son.

I figured as much. I’m kind of pulling for them to have a boy, but they’d be cute with a girl as well.
