I deliverd my son on friday, 4.30 pm. And the doctors send me home at 9.30 pm the same day. I had a perfect delivery everything was oke with us. But my son was born with 36.6 weeks. Everything was perfect with him.

Gisele, there is nothing wrong with people having discussions about c-section and vaginal birth. These discussions help people get the information to each other, compare experiences, and learn from each other, so then they and others can make decisions they wouldnt makeotherwise. These discussions benefit everyone

I think it was mentioned that she looked tired because during her entire pregnancy she looked totally fantastic and was always out shopping.

I stayed in for around 48 hours when I delivered my first baby vaginally. I needed to stay in to help deal with the pain. They don’t send you home with more than ibuprofen and I certainly needed more than that for a little bit. I can’t imagine going home the same day in that much pain!

Gisele – I wish someone had told me I wasn’t supposed to bleed after my cesarean, because I did. LOL! Everyone bleeds after a baby is cesarean. FWIW, I stayed 5 days after my cesarean, and 2-3 days after each of my subsequent vaginal deliveries.

With my first baby I stayed three nights and with my second i stayed 12 hours and with my third I spent one night. They wanted me to stay the three days with baby #1 because I was 17 when I had him and it helped me to heal and lern more about babies(despite the fact that I took prenantal classes, had doula mentoring, and one on one classes with the health nurse and coucellors at our pregnancy outhreach program). And thank god! I needed it!

I find it funny that they mentioned she looked tired. She just gave birth and has a newborn, of course she is tired!
