Heidi Klum dishes on new tattoo
In a Wednesday appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly, Heidi Klum explained the origins of her new forearm tattoo, which she got in Mexico while there for her and husband Seal’s vow renewal. While the main portion of the tattoo features the name of Seal, three smaller stars at the end of the tattoo include the initials of their children — Leni, 4, Henry, 2 ½, and Johan, 19 months — inside. The family moved to California three years ago, but are enjoying their time spent in New York this week as Heidi promotes the 5th season of Project Runway, which the 35-year-old model hosts.
It’s great to come to New York, because there are so many things (for the kids)…We saw The Little Mermaid on Broadway, we went to the zoo two times and we took the ferry around Manhattan.
Heidi and Seal were married in 2005.

Candykane, lots of models and actresses have tattoos nowadays. My best friend is a model and she has quite a few. She says that it is the same as stretch marks and birth marks, moles etc. They just cover it all up with make-up.I learned some cool tricks when I accompanied her to a swimsuit show she was doing.I knew that when you see people in magazines and that, they have been airbrushed.I didn’t realize they did that for red carpets etc. Literally, there were girls getting airbrush make-up put on from head to toe. Then concealer and powder and everything. I was joking with one of the make-up artists “And to think I gripe about the task of putting on a little make-up on my face !”

candykane actually heidi said she got a tattoo now because she isn’t modeling nearly as much as she did when she was in her 20’s. She said other than the victoria secret fashion show, she’s not a big model anymore, but she wouldn’t recommand a tattoo for models who are in high demand. I like the 2 stars with the intials of her kids, I never like name tattoos of spouses just because I’ve seen so many people divorce and regret having their ex name on them.
