is she wearing two different shoes?
July 17th, 2008 at 10:52 am
She looks so much like her dad!
July 17th, 2008 at 11:02 am
I think it’s the light…they look the same to me.
July 17th, 2008 at 11:18 am
Haha,Sarah, I think it’s the lighting. It also looks like her left foot is much bigger than her right foot!
I can’t believe how much Adam and Sadie look alike! It’s uncanny. I can’t wait for this new baby. :]
July 17th, 2008 at 11:25 am
she is actually adorable!
July 17th, 2008 at 11:30 am
I agree Sarah, they look they are 2 differnt shoes, not the lighting or the size, but the designs themselves.
July 17th, 2008 at 11:57 am
Lol, it’s the same shoes – only the inside has a different pattern then the outside. My niece has a similar pair.
July 17th, 2008 at 12:00 pm
She looks just like her daddy! I love her hair!

“Lol, it’s the same shoes – only the inside has a different pattern then the outside. My niece has a similar pair.” Thanks Martina!
That makes sense! They look like they are really cute shoes!!

The more I see her, the more I think Adam wants a son. They dress her like a boy all the time. Very rarely is she all girly with cute here. When she is, she looks so squeezable! I just want to pinch her cheeks. She’s beautiful! LOL!
July 17th, 2008 at 3:16 pm
OMG, i’m sorry, but that is the fugliest kid i’ve ever seen.
Truly. She looks like her name should be uncle morty and she should be wearing a housecoat and slippers.
Boogedy, I hope that kid grows into her “looks”
July 17th, 2008 at 3:28 pm
I think that they should pierce her ears! Dressed like that I think she could easily be mistaken for a little boy!
July 17th, 2008 at 3:50 pm
She is simply adorable. I will have to agree though, that the clothing they put her in is usually fairly ugly and boy-ish. I don’t get it.
July 17th, 2008 at 5:55 pm
I at first thought she was a boy, and after reading everyone else’s comments, I agree they should maybe dress her in other clothes! but she looks cute however, and looks so much like Adam!!! those cheeks look so pinchable!!!
P.S. Her shirt says “little MISS sunshine!”
July 17th, 2008 at 6:07 pm
Stephanie and Chicki, I wholeheartedly agree! She is an adorable child but she does look like a boy.
I have noticed a trend with that lately, dressing little girls in very boyish clothes. . . What’s with that? Anyone? Is it backlash to all the pink frills and bows our moms put us in?
July 17th, 2008 at 6:24 pm
OK, some people are so superficial. Little girls want to run around and play. I think she looks comfortable. How is she going to run and play in a dress? I hate dressing my little girl in clothes that aren’t practical. Leave them alone. She looks like a happy and healthy child.
July 17th, 2008 at 6:41 pm
She’s wearing capris and a Little Miss shirt.. I think it’s a cute outfit. It’s all a matter of personal taste, I’m not a big fan of overloading girls in frilly or pink clothes just because they’re girls.
I would never pierce my daughter’s ears just so she wouldn’t be mistaken for a boy. What’s the big deal if she is? She’s two! I’d rather that than have someone shove a needle through my daughter’s ears.
July 17th, 2008 at 7:40 pm
Is it wrong to dress your daughter like a tomboy? It’s much easier to explore the world in these clothes. Not to mention, they last much longer because they are very durable and washable. Sure, a pink flowered sundress can be cute one or two times but could it be worn during the winter and autmun? Just a thought.
Note to add, this is a nice picture of Adam and Sadie!
July 17th, 2008 at 8:35 pm
yeah she really does resemble a boy! I think she’s cute in her own way but not one of the cuter celeb babies imho. I don’t know maybe a cute dress and a hair clip would make me see her differently. But she def. is a spitting image of her daddy! I hope they have a boy next!
July 17th, 2008 at 8:43 pm
I love how she always wears the “Little Miss….” shirts. She looks like she would be really funny to hang out with and I would love to see a photo of her with a big smile on her face!
July 17th, 2008 at 9:18 pm
I just love this little girl! She’s just precious!
July 17th, 2008 at 9:53 pm
I know what you mean about comfortable clothing on kids, but there are soft little cotton outfits out there for little girls. An example of a little girl who always looks comfortable and free to “explore the world,” but still is dressed unmistakably like a girl is Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.

She’s a sweetie. She looks just like her papa.
July 18th, 2008 at 12:20 am
Okay.. did anyone else notice that Adam and Sadie have the same exact expression on their faces. Too funny

There is nothing wrong with piercing a baby’s ears. Like Janis said there are plenty of girl outfits that are comfy ‘ feminine looking w/o being to frilly or dresses.
July 18th, 2008 at 4:58 am
Everyone thinks that Sadie looks like Adam but to me I think she looks more like her mom ….. or maybe a mixture of both. I love her hair tho …. and she is precious.
July 18th, 2008 at 5:05 am
Oh yeah as far as Sadie “dressed” like a little boy all the time and that they should dress her more like a little girl, Maybe those are the clothes that she likes. My cousin has 2 girls and NEITHER will wear a dress or even a skirt for that matter. One is 6 years old and the other just turned 3 years old. They would much rather dress like Sadie. My little girl on the other hand absolutely loves dresses and skirts but not until she was about 4. So maybe it’s her preference and not so much her parents. And before anyone says it, maybe their the type of parents to let their child wear what she is comfortable in instead of what the “parents” want her to wear. IMO

As far as Shiloh’s clothes go… remember her first ever baby pictures? She was dressed in blue. Not so girly there.
Honestly, as long as she’s comfortable, what does it matter what she’s wearing?
She looks just like her daddy, and that’s wonderful!

In my opinion, there’s no good reason to overtly label babies or toddlers as one sex or the other. My daughter is obviously a girl now, just from appearance (no matter what she wears), but as a baby/early toddler it was difficult to tell and she frequently wore gender-neutral clothing, or gender-neutral colors. Or even blue or green clothes without sparkles, embroidery, frills, or lace (and hair clips? She would have eaten them, or at least pulled them out immediately and thrown them). If people thought she was a boy for a moment, I didn’t care, and neither did my husband. We dressed her in what was available and comfortable. At 2 1/2, we let her choose what she wants to wear when possible and we don’t buy exclusively “girl” items – I don’t like the frequent reinforcement of the “girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice” and “boys are made of snips and snails and puppy dogs’ tails” stereotypes. Why do boys get “Baby Pirate!” onesies and girls get “Sweet as Can Be” onesies? Why can’t my spunky daughter wear a “Baby Pirate” onesie? It’s my laid-back 4 month old son who’s the sweetie pie. That’s not to say that my daughter never wears “girl” clothes, as I have lots of photos of her in dresses and other girl-type outfits – just that I prefer things that fit her personality, rather than items that try to shape her personality around gender stereotypes.
I don’t like labeling my children or giving them those kinds of expectations. I want them to be who they are, and make their own determinations whenever possible.
I think it’s absolutely adorable how Adam and Sadie have the same expression in the photo. Love it.

I just know when I was about 2 or 3 my mother cut my long hair into a short, boyish style. I have always, especially as a teenager, looked at those photos of myself and asked, Why? I remember my boyfriend in my early twenties wanting to see pictures of me as a kid and I would cringe at those photos of me with that boy hair. As an adult, I can be as tough or as feminine as I choose, but I can never go back to being a sweet, pretty little thing. That ship has sailed. I was an unpretty toddler, thanks to that hair!

LOL, thanks for replying to my post. What you said was true but Sadie’s shirt was a Miss Little Sunshine. May I ask, how girly is it in your book?

Love those curls, and they do have the same look on their faces too funny!!

She looks so much like Adam. Except she has Jackie’s lips and hair, she really resembles him, especially in his photos when he was a kid. I think she’s going to grow up to look like Liv Tyler.
