I cant wait to hear what they name the little one. Whether it will be a common name or a Greek name. It will be cool to see how it goes with his last name.

That poor baby is going to have one LONG last name! I feel for him/her when they get to first grade and have to print their whole name, lol.
On a serious note, Caroline looks AMAZING. Definitely happy for her!

Star, Caroline had broken up with her “significant” other of many years a few years ago and then met Costaki and has been happy ever since. That is what I heard her say in an interview and was so happy for her. Been watching her for years between Sabrina and Biggest Loser. SO happy for her as she has said in numerous interviews that she has wanted kids for sooo long.

It would be best for the baby if they use her last name. His last name could be a second middle name.

I think Caroline is having a girl. She will have a big baby I think. Congrats to them all and I wish them happiness with their little one once he/she arrives!

I have a long, hard to pronounce, ethnic lastname= Lyubashveskaya (Lyub-what?). English-speaking people have a hard time readind it, pronouncing it and writing it, but even as a child it made me feel unique and proud of my parents’ heritage, despite others lack of appreciation for it.It all depends on the approach parents have, it can be a positive thing too, after ANY family name (not just the common ones) carries history, identity and pride. Just my opinion of course.

i agree with you eva. i have a difficult last name too (an indonesian last name, because that’s where my grandpa’s from) and although it’s difficult sometimes because you always have to spell your name, it makes me feel unique in a way…

Same here, eva, and it has made me very proud of my Polish origins. Instead of being annoyed at mispronunciations, I just laugh at them. Because they are kind of funny. As long as this kid understands that he/she will have to spell his last name a lot and doesn’t mind, she/he will be fine.

that kid is going to grow up in a house full of laughter

Love Costaki! He is so dang funny! He does a weekly bit on the Bob and Tom radio show called the “Economonologue.” I think they will be great parents.

I’m so happy for Caroline — I remember when her engagement was broken off a few years ago, so it’s good to see her in a happy relationship again. She’s such a great, funny lady. Her baby will grow up in a house of laughs and love.
