Featured Review: LIKEaBIKE: It’s Like A “Real Bike,” Only Better!
by Stephanie:
If you’ve never seen a LIKEaBIKE,then you’re probably one of those people who keep coming up to askabout it when my 3 ½-year-old son is whizzing about the neighborhood onhis. Truly, it’s tough to go somewhere without someone stopping us andinquiring about this incredible bike. I don’t blame them. It really isamazing. And unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.

we have a skuut, which is similar, and my now-20 month old LOVES. IT. we bought it for him when he was 18 months old & it was a little tall, even at the lowest setting, so we took a tip from the website & turned the frame upside-down, making it an inch shorter. he’s really getting good at it & it will be with us for a long, long time.

Cute bike, but the idea is hardly new.
Apparently one of the first “modern” bicycles was something much like that for adults, invented by Baron Karl von Drais in 1818.

Those bikes are the best thing. They are awesome for balance. My son got one when he was two and started biking at four. He never needed trainingwheels.
