Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Expecting Rumors Swirl
Yesterday, actor Victor Garber, Jennifer Garner’s former Alias co-star, told US Weekly that Garner and actor-husband Ben Affleck are expecting their second child together. Jennifer, 36, is said to be about five months along. Reps for the couple, whose daughter Violet Anne will be 3 in December, have not confirmed the reports. Later in the day, Garber denied the statement to E! News, saying "I don’t know anything for sure." Speculation has been growing in recent weeks as Jennifer has been photographed in a number of loose-fitting tops. One thing is certain: They do want more kids. As Ben said in a recent interview with the Times Online, "We’re going to have another baby soonnow that we’ve figured out how to do it. We want lots of kids."
Jennifer and Ben, 35, were married in the Turks and Caicos islands on June 29th, 2005; Victor, who played her father on Alias, officiated.

I was wondering if she was pregnant again since every time we’ve seen her in pictures lately she’s had on a loose shirt and is carrying Violet with Violets leg over her belly. If you look at the recent photos there seems to be “purpose” in her hand holding the leg over her belly. Like she’s white knuckling it to hide her belly. I noticed that in the last few pictures… Jennifer does look very slim however still so I don’t kow HOW she could be 5 months…maybe 3 or 4 months at the most?
If she is pregnant she should let Violet walk a little more! Whenever I find out I’m pregnant again (I have 3 kids and am now expecting again – twins!) I always let my littlest one start to walk more because they have to get used to it because soon you’ll have another little one that you have to hold! Plus, it’s not really good to be carrying and lifting a toddler everywhere while you’re pregnant…

I really had a feeling the rumors were real this time; I never saw the photos of her with a major bump, but the tell-tale sign to me was that all of a sudden she changed out of her tees and sneakers and started dressing very girly-just like she did when first pregnant with Violet! Congrats to them!

Sara– She probably doesn’t carry Violet everywhere. But in the presence of paparazzi, I would certainly pick her up so as to move along faster. Especially when trying to hide the early signs of pregnancy…

yeah, not only the loose tops but the daughter’s legs over the belly in EVERY picture… I don’t usually believe Jen’s second pregnancy rumors but I think this time they are real too….

That is an awesome possibility. Ben, Jen and Violet are one of my favorite celebrity families and Violet is just adorable and, as everyone mentions, so happy and content looking!

Go to ET’s website and there is a side-view photo of her and she does look like she’s pregnant, maybe 4 months but I don’t know about 5 months unless she’s like Nicole Kidman and doesn’t get big until later in her pregnancy.

I started thinking it was possibly true because she also seems fuller up top – that almost seems easier as a check this year with so many fashions making normally slim women look like they are hiding a belly!

I hope this is true and the new little one has Violet’s personality. Hasn’t she been carrying baby dolls more than usual? (that might not mean anything, but Shiloh started carrying dolls while Angelina was preggers)

I think she’s pregnant, but I don’t know about 5 months. I would love the rumors to be true though. My son was born a month before Violet and I’m due again in January.

Didn’t Victor Garber already confirm this to US even if they haven’t issued a statement, that sounds like it’s pretty solid to me considering how close he is to that family! Congrats to them!

I hope she’s pregnant and just out of the first trimester b/c that would make us due around the same time hahaha. I have to admit I’m curious as to what celebs will be pregnant about the same time b/c I’d love to follow her/their pregnancies! So far no one “big” has announced a pregnancy (meaning not anyone CBB is likely to have lots of pictures of).
But, I feel a little bad for her if Victor did let it out of the bag before she and Ben were ready to announce.

I really do think the rumors are true this time. She looks about 4 months pregnant. She looks fuller up top and her thighs are starting to get bigger like they did with Violet. There is a picture on People’s website where she does look pregnant.

I don’t blame her for hiding the news if it’s true. When she first became pregnant with Violet, her family found out through the media, she didn’t get a chance to tell them first.

Woohoo! My daughter is a month older than Violet and now we’re both expecting at the same time again! (Hopefully!) SOOOOOOOO happy for this perfect all-American family! I can totally see her having a boy this time too, how perfect would that be??

There was a pick of her and V posted here just a few days ago of her wearing buttoned up jeans and her shirt tucked in. Surely didn’t look like five months gone to me. If she is, she is stil first trimester.

I usually don’t follow the Jen Preg rumors because they seemed to have been swirling for years!
But I saw some pictures of a distinct belly a few weeks ago on her website. I strongly feel that she is pregnant, though. Especially with Garber letting the cat out of the bag!

I think they have Victor Garber make these announcements for them on purpose, to dissipate the frenzy of the situation. He’s a friend of their family, officiated their wedding, and might also be Violet’s godfather. If he’s talking to the press about it, it must be true.

I’d say it doesn’t sound like she’s denying it. “I don’t know anything for sure” could mean “I don’t know if we’re having a boy or girl”. Congrats to them if it’s true. They are a great family!

She’s 36 years old, so she probably didn’t want to announce the pregnancy until her genetic counseling and tests were complete. I don’t blame her for wanting a little privacy.

With the recent pics that have been circulating, I do believe she’s pregnant. Congrats to this family! I also love how Jen is such good friends with Victor Garber, its nice to see that co-stars keep in touch after a series has ended and remain friends in their personal lives as well.

Allison- I see your point, but Shi was seen carrying a doll at least once BEFORE Angie got pregnant (back in September or October. Assuming Knox and Vivienne really were due in August like Dustin Hoffman said, they were probably concieved in late November or early December).

Sara- who do you think you are to be giving such advice? Maybe letting your youngest walk, works for you, but honestly, who do you think you are to critisize Jennifer Garner? I;m sure carrying her is a pap reason, or maybe..just maybe, IF she is pregnant she dosn’t want to shove her first born to walk and instead is choosing to ease the TODDLER into getting a sibling. And carrying a toddler while being pregnant is NOT a horrible thing! Honestly!!

I think she is pregnant also. I just looked at a bunch of pictures of her in the past few days and weeks on Jared and she defintely has a bump. Not only that but she is starting to get wider in the hip area. No Im not a stalker but I remember when she was pregnant with Violet I was amazed at how wide her hips were since she is normally so skinny! Well it looks like its happening again.

I juse realized something, isn’t Matt Damon’s baby due soon? this means they and the Garner-Afflecks will have 2 kids born around the same time again! (Violet and Isabella Damon were born a few months apart)
