Nominations for the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced yesterday morning in Los Angeles, and among the nominees in the acting and brand-new hosting categories are some of our favorite celebrity moms! My first pick would be Kyra Sedgwick, and my second pick would be for Mary-Louise Parker. “The Closer” is my favorite show right now!

Honestly I don’t really care but I think it’s time Mary Louise Parker won an award for her role in Weeds! OMG she’s so great in this show!! I think she plays this part fantastically!! I’m rooting for her considering she’s been nominated 4x (I believe) for this role and has yet to won!

If Tina Fey just stood on the set, I’d give her an emmy. She is that good. Kyra Sedgwick is adorable in the Closer. Holly Hunter is incredible/amazing in Saving Grace. Glen Close was wonderful as always in Damages. Sally Fields is Sally Fields. Mariska Hargitay gave an oscar worthy performance in the episode UNDERCOVER. Hargitay should win.
