Alison Sweeney Kept Pregnancy with Daughter a Secret with Virgin Cocktails
Actress Alison Sweeney wanted to keep her second pregnancy a secret as long as possible, and that meant The Biggest Loser host would have to perform some tricks here and there — including disguising what she was drinking. When going out with friends, instead of drinking alcohol, Alison had been sipping "soda water and a splash of cranberry and a lime," adding "it looks like a real drink." Bartenders in Los Angeles would also help her out, pouring her virgin cocktails into vodka glasses. When the 31-year-old did start telling her friends she was pregnant, they all had the same response:
They keep saying, ‘Did you not know you were pregnant last weekend?’ because it looked like I was drinking, and I say ‘No, that was water that I was drinking, trying to stay under the radar.’ So to be clear: I was not drinking when I knew I was pregnant.
Alison and her husband Dave Sanov recently revealed to ETthat they are expecting a little girl on January 20th. Alison shared thatshe is "feeling fantastic" but has "moments of extreme morningsickness." The couple are also parents to son Benjamin Edward, 3.

In an article on okmagazine.com she says she is having a girl. Congrats to her! One of each will be fun.

I saw some where that she is having a girl also. I don’t believe it though. My sister is due with her baby on Christmas day and she went to the Drs last week and they said it was too early to tell and she has to go back in 2 weeks. Unless Alison had special testing done. Either way congrats to her.

If she had any kind of pre-natal testing done, she would be able to tell the gender now I think.

Actually, the girl/boy parts are there at 12 weeks, they’re just not visible on the sonogram until 20 weeks. She could’ve had a 4-D sonogram or a amniocentesis done.
Anyway, congrats to them.

I’m due a week before her! I don’t want to know the sex though…and my ob said she’d only be able to see at my 20 wk appt with an ultrasound so I’m guessing she had an amnio done? I hope everything’s going smoothly with her pregnancy!

Oh, a little girl, how sweet!
I found out at my 12-week ultrasound that I was having a girl. The doctor said he was 98% sure. I hadn’t expected to find out so early.

I am so happy for her!! As far as findign out on ultrasound, Boy parts don’t desend till 13 weeks or 11 weeks LMP. And sometimes its just how good your tech is, they ahve a 50% chance of beign right or wrong…LOL.
I found out with y son at 16 weeks and there was ummm, no doubt. With all 3 of my girls we found out at 21 weeks.
i am so happy for her, she is one of my favorite people, she seems like you could jsut talk to her about being a mom, kinda like Melissa Joan Hart..:)
