Spotted: Jennifer Garner’s New Baby Belly
After weeks of loose cotton tops, Jennifer Garner wore a fitted tee on Tuesday that cleared up any lingering pregnancy doubts! Last week, rumors swirled that the actress, 36, and husband Ben Affleck would be expecting a winter arrival — after today’s images out with 2 ½-year-old Violet Anne, we don’t think we need a confirmation! Reps for the couple remain mum, but PEOPLE confirms with Garner-Affleck friends that she is at least four months along.

So I have not commented on any of the “rumors” so far but I have to comment on this–simply because–if and when Jen does confirm it–I think this will be the most exciting pregnancy for me…LOL simply because i adore this family–they are by far my favorite and for them to expand–it almost feels like your own family ya know? And lets face it, Jen and Ben make beautiful babies…they are AMAZING parents–and lets face it–the idea of Vi as a big sister–it makes my heart swell–so I will definitely say I see a bump this time and the idea of baby Affleck #2 just excites me to no end…haha

CONGRATS!!! I am so glad 4 them…they are my favorite Hollywood couple. Plus Violet is such an adorable little girl. Jen and Ben’s next baby will be just as cute I’m sure. I can’t wait to see the baby pics.

I’m so glad they’ll be having another baby around the same time Matt & Luciana are. Their kids will have so much fun growing up together. Jennifer looks fantastic! I wish people would let her enjoy being pregnant instead of hounding her for a confirmation. It’s her choice not to say anything. Congrats to the happy couple!

YEAHHHHHHHHH!! I have been such a big fan of this family. I find Jen very inspirational! I think she is doing such a great job raising her family, I hope I am doing as well. I think Violet is adorable and she clearly loves her mom and Dad very much!! It’s great to see this!

I am so happy for them. I love them as a family and another little one is going to be so great. And if the new little one looks like Violet, well, all the more beauty for the world. She is so beautiful. Some days she looks like Ben and then others she looks like Jen. It is so sweet.

Congrats Jen and Ben… I believe this is the same kind of confirmation as angelina jolie and christina aguilera.. it was just obvious. Rumor is shes due in the beginning of december meaning she is 4 and a half months pregnant , which looks like it could be the case!

Yay! I love this family and I can’t wait for them to have another adorable, happy baby! Ben and Jen just seem so grounded and so determined to raise Violet (and the new baby) it a totally normal environment and loving home.

We may never get a (formal)confirmation. However, I suspected it when she was photograped talking with fans on the set of her last movie wearing a wedding dress (with a sweater on backwards) that she was pregnant. I noticed also that her breast got larger. When I realized people were relunctant to discuss it for fear of offending her, I dropped the subject. We might have to wait until she is as big as a house to know for sure

How wonderful, I love this family. They seem to be such a picture perfect family, I would love to see them with a mini ben since violet is a mini jen. Looks like another december baby too

Yay! I just love this family and I think they are what every mom on here wants, the money & the fame plus a handsome hubby and cute kiddo! She’s so down-to-earth no wonder every woman wants to be her! She’s perfect!
Our kids are almost the same age and I’m due with #2 in early January, I don’t know why I think that is too cool, lol!!

I don’t think she is 5 months. Maybe 3,,4 at the most..So would say January due date. but that’s just my guess.

If you look back at when she was pregnant with Violet, her belly didn’t look like this until she was 4-5 months pregnant. I don’t think she will get as big this time around though as with Violet.

Do you think her purse could be any bigger? I wish she would just admit that she is expecting so she can start to wear maternity clothes and not have to carry Violet everywhere so much. She is going to be too heavy to carry soon.

my favorite part of the first picture is how deliberately jen is holding violet’s left foot in front of her (obviously pregnant) belly. with violet trying to squirm away, all it does is pull her shirt in such a way that it actually accentuates her belly. so excited for them to have another baby!

Rumors earlier this month in Boston said Jennifer told friends over July 4th weekend that she was pregnant. It was believed then that she was around 3 months.

Lisa- Why should she have to confirm it if she doesn’t want to (and just an FYI, lots of celebs don’t wear maternity clothes even after they confirm their pregnancies. For example, I remember Halle Berry saying she was going to avoid wearing them for as long as possible!)? Just because she is a celebritity doesn’t mean that she is required to confirm her pregnancy.
As far as I know, she never formally confirmed her pregnancy with Violet either (somebody please correct me if I’m wrong!). As for carrying Violet…That’s nothing new. She carried Violet everywhere (at least in public. To be fair, we have no way of knowing whether she carries Violet when there aren’t paps around) long before she became pregnant!
Also, who says Violet will get too heavy to carry soon? Angelina Jolie carried Pax most of the time up until around the time she “announced” her pregnancy (speaking of which, no one was up in arms up her and Brad never making a formal confirmation. Why the double-standard here? Why should Jennifer need to make an announcement when it was perfecly acceptable for Angie to not make one?) with Knox and Vivienne, and he’s close to two years older than Violet!
Angie also countinues to carry Zahara and Shiloh (at least she did up until she was admitted to the hospital before Knox and Vivienne were born, and she was seen carrying both girls on several different ocassions during her pregnancy), and Z is one year older than Violet, and Shi just five months younger than Violet! Not only that, but Angie carried Maddox until he was 5…the nine months she was pregnant with Shiloh included!
In otherwords, who are we to say that Violet will soon be “too heavy” for Jen to carry? What is too heavy for one person is NOT neccesarily too heavy for another person.

And I will admit that I was wrong but I do stick by my previous statement that she didn’t look pregnant to me but now with this shirt and from this angle she definitely looks pregnant and I can’t be happier for them!!! I was staying away from the speculation with her, but looking at these photos and just compiling it with everything else, I’ll say it does seem like she is. Especially in the PopSugar photos.

I was a bit hesitant when I saw the front-on photo (it didn’t make her look particularly pregnant) but seeing that side photo – she MUST be pregnant! I think it’s fantastic. They seem like such a lovely family and they just always seem to be happy within themselves. Congratulations to them!

So happy for them, violet will have a playmate, nice to have them close in age so they can grown up together, would be nice if she had a boy this time and then they will have the perfect family. Ben must be on clound nine, he sure loves his little girl and I know he will love this one as much. Jennifer is such a wonderful mom and I hope all goes well for her. Good Luck to them both.

Actually up until a certain point in pregnancy you should not pick up more than 25 lbs. I had to make my toddler walk more beginning at about 6 months on the advice of my OB and it was very hard on my 2 year old because all she wanted was to be picked up. I would only let her climb up on me when I was sitting down.

CelebBabyLover- In respose to your comments…. Just because Angelina carried her older children around before having her babies, how do you know that she was doing something “right”? As I recall, she was on complete bed rest and even admitted to the hospital “weeks” before the twins arrived. She even had her own medical team.
As far as Jennifer holding Violet while trying to hide whatever is going on with her protruding belly, she needs to “nip it in the bud” now, because she will have a more difficult time when she needs to tend to both children at the same time. There is no reason why Violet can’t walk next to her while she hold her mother’s hand. This does not mean that Jennifer loves Violet any less if she isn’t holding her in her arms from what you are trying to imply with your insult to my comment. If and when the new baby arrives, Jennifer will have her hands full trying to care for both children, this is a good opperntunity for her to ween her of carring her so much for her own sake and her back. Tori Spelling said on her TV show that she was not to carry Liam so much, so that is why Dean had to carry him so much and Liam is younger and lighter than Violet if you want to talk about ages and weight. As far as other celebrities, I can’t even recall when I saw the last picture of Gwen Stefani holding her son Kingston? hhhhhmmmm?
As far as maternity clothes. These days maternity clothes are just as stylish as regular clothes. I loved looking to see what Tori Spelling was wearing each day when she was pregnant with Stella. I’m sure that Jennifer would be much more comfortable if she was wearing something that isn’t tight fitting and she has some room to grow in. There isn’t anything wrong with wearing maternity clothes or even something that isn’t too constricting. I just think it’s silly for her to wear winter clothes in the middle of summer. I have seen her in sweatshirts and sweaters in the last week when everyone else it in summer clothes around her, plus she even dresses Violet in season appropiate clothing while she is in a sweater?
As far as waiting for the “official announcement” of her being pregnant. I think that when she is in the spotlight, it would be easier on her if she just admits it, rather then all the attention she is getting from the media of waiting for her to make the announcement. I don’t think the attention she is getting is going to die down anytime soon, so why not make some formal announcement so the paps will quit hounding her? It will only be worse for her because it’s making a story of it’s own of when or will she just admit that she is pregnant.
So, before you start throwing stones at glass houses, maybe you should think about what’s in the best interest of Jennifer, Ben, Violet and the new one that is being speculated.

A source says she’s 4 months pregnant according to People magazine. If that’s right, she’d have the baby in mid-late December and have another December baby.

Lisa- If Angie’s doctor had told her not to carry Zee and Shi, she wouldn’t have. I highly doubt she would have jepordized the health of the twins by carrying Zee and Shi when she shouldn’t have. I honestly think that her being hospitilzed (nothing was ever confirmed either way about her being on complete bedrest before she was admitted to the hospital) was simply because she was pregnant with twins.
As other posters have said in posts about Angie being at the hospital, it’s actually not that uncommon for mothers of multiples to be admitted to the hospital for the last few weeks of their pregnancy as a precaution (and Angie’s doctor DID say she was in for “routinue monitoring”.)
As for Jennifer, have you ever thought that perhaps she carries Violet because of the paps…and for all we know, that’s the ONLY time she carries her (for example, if you look at recent videos of the J-Ps, Angie usually has Zahara walk, but scoops her up when she spots the paps and/or when the paps get too close for comfort. It may very well be the same sort of situation with Jennifer and Violet.). There have also been several pictures of Violet walking.
Finally, as for an “offical announcement” about the pregnancy….Why did you not object when Angelina never formally confirmed her pregnancy with Knox and Vivi (I’ve decided that’s what I’m calling Vivienne until I know her “offical” nickname!)? In otherwords, why the double-standard?
