Every Day is Christmas For Sheryl Crow

After singer Sheryl Crow, 46, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006, she knew that something was missing from her life — children. She reveals in a new interview that after her battle against the disease, she felt that motherhood was "something I really want," adding, "I would be a great mom." That is how the musician came to be mother to Wyatt Steven, 14 months, an experience she considers "wonderful."
It just makes every day like Christmas. I wake up in the morning and I can’t wait for him to wake up, or he wakes me up and I run up and get him.

I love her! I wish I was that excited every morning when my son wakes up! I need to be as positive and excited as her!

I wish a celebrity would just come out like every other mom and say, you know what most of the time things are great but sometimes my kid is a real pain! Celebrity moms always seem soooo much more excited and always say how PERFECT life is with baby. It gets really annoying at times.

aw, I don’t think she’s sugarcoating it. She’s loaded, how can that not make everything easier? I know I’d have kids if I had the means.

also, I imagine that her own bout with cancer put a lot of normal life stresses into proper perspective too
