"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Tori Spelling to Chronicle Life As a Mom in New Book

Tags: Books, Quotes

Toriandliam Writing her memoir sTORI Telling was "an amazing cathartic journey," Tori Spelling says; it’s a journey she’s about to take again, for the 35-year-old actress has agreed to pen a follow-up book tentatively called Mommywood. Instead of focusing on her past, Tori’s latest literary effort will focus entirely on the present, as she juggles her life as an actress with her life as ‘mom’ to Liam Aaron, 16 months, and Stella Doreen, 6 weeks. Says Tori,

Being a mom of two beautiful babies, I’m excited to share more stories as I embark on this new chapter of my life.

Tori’s publisher, Simon Spotlight Entertainment, says it hopes to publish Mommywood next April.

Liam and Stella are Tori’s children with husband Dean McDermott.

I’m not sure that a woman who has only been a mother for 16 months has much

  4. Beverley Says:

I’m not sure that a woman who has only been a mother for 16 months has much to qualify her to write a book about motherhood.

  5. chris Says:

Tori is quite the business woman, isn’t she? You can’t say she doesn’t work for her money. :) Hopefully we will see more pictures of Stella soon.

  6. lilith Says:

Sorry, but everytime i read something about those two i’m always reminded how Dean McDermott neglected his first wive and his little daughter to marry Tory.
I hope both found what they were looking for and wish them and their babies all the best, but seeing them celebrated on this website, just leaves a bad taste in my mouth..

  7. Nikki Says:

I can’t wait! I just love her and I loved her most recent book. Tori’s kids are adorable and I know her book will have tons of pics and fun stories!

  8. magnolia711 Says:

I agree with you, Beverley. And the fact that she just had a baby and has a toddler to chase around and a reality show to shoot and a book tour to complete…makes me think she hasn’t been doing much of the writing herself.

  9. Becky Says:

I am sooo excited! I love her, love her show and love her book! Can’t wait for another quick read (I couldn’t put the last one down…and I even have mom, who doesn’t know who she is, reading it…we always share books. LOL!)

Tink – you have to get it. You can borrow mine if you want even LOL…It is really good!

  10. Moore Says:

Beverly, Magnolia, I’m with you two.

I can understand her writing a book after being a mother for a little while longer but so soon its almost like she’s cashing in on all the attention. Striking while its hot kinda thing.
After a little bit longer the book could be very interesting but given the lack of time I doubt I’ll read this book and I’m usually interested in momlit.
I’m not for sure but I think as a mom she wants to tell people all about her babies and her experiences but it could be much greater later.

  11. rach Says:

Well it can’t be too hard with housekeepers and nannies!
As a nanny who worked in the UK and States I can assure you it is incredibly unlikely she doesn’t have at least 1 nanny. I know families with 3 nannies plus a maternity nurse for any newborn.
I enjoyed her book though and look forward to the next one, a bit of escapist fiction :D
