Xavier Nady Welcomes His Own Ball Player
Pittsburgh Pirates’ Xavier Nady, 29, and his wife Meredith welcomed son Xavier Nady VII on Tuesday, July 15th. The couple’s first child weighed 8 lbs, 14 oz and both mom and son are reported to be doing well. The right fielder recently explained his family’s 150-year-old tradition of naming sons Xavier.

Just a little correction to point out: According to the original article, Xavier’s son is Xavier Nady VII, not VI.

hmm. the seventh?? too many, IMO. There are so many other great names out there.
