Eva Longoria Parker “Can Guarantee” No Baby on The Way
Despite being the repeated target of pregnancy rumors, Eva Longoria Parker says — definitively — there is no baby on the way for her and husband Tony Parker. In a new interview with The Billy Bush Show, the 33-year-old Desperate Housewives actress went so far as to say that she "can guarantee…a baby will not be here in nine months." She adds,
Longer than that, maybe. We’re definitely wanting a family and when it happens, it’ll happen, but it’s no rush and there’s no timeline that we’ve set for ourselves.
At a press conference for the Alma Awards on Monday, the actress told People.com that she "can’t wait" to have children of her own.
Eva and Tony celebrated their first wedding anniversary earlier this month in Europe; it was on the trip that whispers of a possible pregnancy resurfaced after pictures of the actress in her bikini surfaced on the Internet. However, Eva insists she was simply enjoying herself. "We ate and ate, and drank wine," she says. "We just kind of lived European." Eva’s rep says the actress has gained a small amount of weight for her role on Desperate Housewives, in which she’ll portray a mother of two this season.

*laugh*
My husband and I just got married – - and we were asked the exact same thing, and I responded “I can say 100% sure I am not pregnant,” only because Aunt Flo had just started! It’s so nice to see something like that!

And that’s when you know someone isn’t pregnant. Nothing mysterious, no “No comment”…just a simple Nope, I’m not pregnant.
The press really needs to lay off Eva. So what? She got married so she automatically needs to have a baby? Agh. That annoys me.

I agree, give her a break. She’s basically still a newlywed. Maybe she just wants to enjoy time with her husband before adding babies into the mix.

So Mothers have to be a tad overweight? Thanks a lot Eva. Im not a mother yet and that was kind of a hurtful comment.

Kelly, That’s Eva’s rep saying that and I’ve seen in other articles it says the same thing. Probably not her idea – it’s the story line.
Plus, a tad of weight for Eva is probably less than 5 pounds. That’s how it looks anyway. I don’t even notice it. She was extremely thin in previous seasons anyway if you ask me. But again, that was the story line. She was a married sex pot rich model who cheated on her husband, then single, now married again. And all her character cares about is her looks…she may have changed a little though this last season…
Also, I know I’ve never been down to the weight that I was before I started having my kids…although I’ve had 4 kids in the last 5 years…I’ve been within 10 pounds though every time I get pregnant again.
It may just be a little more stereotypically believeable for her to have a couple more pounds on her…Not many “real” mothers out there with multiple children who look stick thin and perfect like Eva.

Again, they have to stop asking women, celebs or not, if they are already pregnant. First, its horrible to suggest that she’s either pregnant or fat. People shouldn’t be pointing at other people’s weight, cause that leads to the eating disorders.
Second, for all we know, she may be also facing infertility. We don’t know. But she may have been already trying. And I find it really disturbing, that CBB keeps featuring stars who are saying they are not pregnant or don’t want to have children (e.g. recently Rachael Ray) You may not have realized, but there are lots of women who cannot have children and if you keep asking them, they either have to tell you the truth (which not everyone wants to do ) or come up with an alternative lie. You cannot imagine, because most of you do have children, how hard it is on a woman who cannot get pregnant, being constantly asked and featured on various websites. I would like to ask for little more understanding and empathy. Some people are not pregnant, for various reasons (including infertility) and they have to stop being constantly asked and featured on baby blogs
