Marcia Cross and Eden’s Summer Splash
Eden Mahoney enjoyed splashing in a park fountain with mom Marcia Cross on Wednesday in Santa Monica, where the Desperate Housewives star took her 17-month-old fraternal twins to cool down on a sticky day. The new season of the show, which jumps ahead five years, will premiere September 28th at 9 p.m. on ABC.

If is was so hot and sticky then why does she have her in long pants and a long sleeve shirt?

It looks like Eden’s shirt might be a long sleeved swim shirt…possibly not. I read somewhere that Marcia has very fair skin and she makes sure she is always covered up. She said that she wants to do the same for her girls and figured if she started them early it would just be something they would do as adults. Those might be the light weight sun clothes also…

Georgia Marcia always keeps herself and her girls well covered no matter the weather. Also Eden is wearing a rash guard like for the beach.

I love these girls, they were born on the same day as my nephew. We are all very consious of the sun with him because my brother and I are both fair and burned easy as children and didn’t learn our lessons until we are older. He is also fair plus red headed. We all think if we start with him now the habits will stay with him as he gets older. Hopefully it works.
I now deal with skin cancer spots from my exposure to the sun. I give Marcia credit for being careful with her girls. She seems so happy since she had the girls.

Georgia, I also wear long shirt and pants if i go out in a very hot weather. You will be hot either way, so you can at least protect yourself from the sun.
Marcia looks awesome !!! could she look any better?

I can help answer some of the questions being commented on as I know that Eden is in a UV Skinz uv protective swim shirt. I started UV Skinz (www.uvskinz.com) after I lost my 32-year-old husband to skin cancer just three days after the September 11th tragedy. I am so grateful that Marcia is in a position to help raise awareness on this very fast-growing, misunderstood disease. Good for her!
